intel pro 2100 3b mini pci card troubles

Installed new proset sofware from intel with no change, doesn't seem to be microsoft WAP update problem. Having said that the ProSet software doesn't recognize my card either.

I cannot get this thing to make a connection with my linksys wap54g! it's on my laptop running windows xp home. I can see the wireless network ssid, but there is no way to configure the channel, and it never makes a connection. tried reinstalling drivers. Anybody have similar problems

The other caveat in checking temperatures on the mobo/cpu is that onboard temperature monitors can be somewhat inconsistent from system to system. If you are having no crashes after long gameplay, no random slowdowns etc then like Cotswold cs said you are unlikely to kill the beast

The camara definitely is the PV-DC152 (no card slot, but will take stills to the tape, no usb on this model) The reason not to buy online is purely for the 12 month same as cash... online appears to offer only 6month.

Thanks for the replies... oh and there is medication for high colesterol so may as well indulge! Every room in the house terminates in the attic on a punch down board. the phone line runs through the blue/blue+white pair of wires on pins 4+5 I tried just plugging in computers in two different...

Is it possible to turn an internal cd-rw into an external one?

definitely you can do it, don't know the least expensive place, but I think dirtcheapdrives.com sells some enclosures. I also remember seeing a firewire enclosure reviewed in Maximumpc about a year ago. I've been switching my 2x2x4 hp cdrw in and out of it's enclosure for the last year. edit...

How to overclock my GeForce2 GTS Pro with 12.41 Detonator drivers?

The NVIDIA drivers (12.41) always have the OC panel "hidden", you need to use something like the current coolbits hack or powerstsrip to get the card to overclock.

Intel dropping prices at the end of the month

if this is right the P4 line will drop in price hard at the end of april. Likely bringing the P3 and celerons with it. May need to hold off on any cpu upgrades for a couple of weeks P4 pricing

Here's what I need in a case . . . recommend something for me

I like the enlight 7237 for a really basic solid case, but for more money, and more bays, a lot of room check out http://www.liteonenclosure.com/products/fs020/fs020.htm the lite on fs020. Very nice case, but pricey.
