Does anyone know how to get the higher multipliers on a 8kha+?
When the 2100+ tbred b is unlocked, it allows for the lower multipliers but not 14 and 15.
Also FYI - if you unlock, 12.5 will be the highest multiplier available (set to 13 in the bios)
Thanks. PS I tried the lost circuits unlock...

If we're talking about cards that will be released in December, then we should talk about NV30 and R300 on .13um process. Those cards will be comparable, so compare them.
I use firedaemon (the new beta version) and I run seti (command line version) as a service. It always runs on my work computer and it's great.
Anyone else do this?
I just called Fry's Manhattan beach and they are selling them for $159.
Newegg's Drive is an OEM, which should - SHOULD be the same drive as retial, but we know this isn't always the case with all computer components.
What is the 11.90 rebate at DELL?
So far, I haven't seen anyone show me a...

suggested retail price of this drive is $159, I belive. I've bought from tccomputers many times in the past. They are reliable.
They just demonstrated that it's possible to use .09 micron last month. They are SO far away from finishing the design for a .09 P4. I believe they are just starting it.
My guess is that we won't see this for at least a year and a half.
The hammer will have been out for a long time when...
Where can I get a pabst 12 dB fan?
also, has anyone here used the volcano 7+? It has a rotation switch that can be set to 3000 rpm/ 24 dB.
edit: damn, the volcano 7+ is expensive, but it would do the job. . . I'll wait for coolermaster's "silent" solution.
Id get the computer up and running first with some bs hsf, and not overclocking. Then, when everything works, install the water cooling system.
edit: since you've never put together a computer before.
I was wanting one of those zalman flowers, but after reading reviews, I need something that cools better than that. I have a 1.33 tbird that I leave on 24/7. It needs to be a lot quieter than it is now with it's volcano 6cu.
I know that coolermaster has a very quiet hsf coming out, but what...

It's not truly hydrolic at all. It is a marketing scheme. There is no power to raise or lower the front cover. You must do this manually. The case has "air springs" as I call them.
Has anyone used the Windows Media Player 8 that was altered for use with Windows 2000?
Is it good? Bad? Is it 100% as stable as the wmp 8 which comes with xp? as stable as wmp 7?
What do you think about it?
I can tell you it will be stable 145 cas2 or a little higher. That is from MY experience. I can't get any higher right now because I am having problems with multiplier locked.
I think that you should count on it doing 145+. Above that is just cake. :D
If I got some krazy glue on my L1's then cleaned it off, then closed L1 bridges, but it didn't unlock (and I'm sure they should be closed) and I want to get my crazy glue off (run on sentence) because I think it didn't all come off with a Qtip and nail polish remover,
How gentle do I need to be...

For AMD users, since you can overclock your CPU with the multiplier, do you overclock the memory to gain higher bandwidth too. >>
Many people lower their multiplier to raise their fsb. 1.5 with a 150 fsb is faster than 1.5 with a 133 fsb.
Where can I get some information on the stepping of AthlonXPs?
Apparently there is little, if any information on the XP's right now.
3rd line starting with a Y is always a good sign though. . .
