Ryzen 7 stability

The crash was a one off, it has not crashed since and the system has been up for about 10 days since now. I tried CPU-Z as well and can't get it to crash again.

yeah, I installed the Samsung driver and it did not make that much of a difference. Those numbers are pretty similar to mine but I have seen others that are far higher.

Samsung 960 NVMe m.2 slow speeds

The speeds I am getting particularly on the 4K Q32T1 are slower than other posters I am seeing. Most are getting 600ish on the read and I am at 392 and 4K is around 60 or so and I am getting 43. Is there a setting I need to adjust?

I just ran Timespy on my Ryzen system (specs in my sig) and the score seemed rather low... does this seem normal to you? At parts of the test I was getting only 15 fps. Granted on my old computer with a Radeon 6670 I got only 5fps by comparison but I expected at least 30+ fps.

what is the expected Idle speed? This was the speed when the CPU was at 3% utilization, not exactly Idle but close to it.

nevermind, figured out that it is dynamically changing the frequency based on load. What is interesting is that sometimes the frequency momentarily goes to 3.8 Ghz and then when idle immediately falls back to 2.1 Ghz. I believe it's due to AMD Quiet and Cool? Is that a good configuration to...

Help! Ryzen 7 running at 2.1 Ghz

Both AI Suite and CPU-Z show the current frequency of all cores around 2.1 Ghz. My CPU temp is 40C so not quite sure what is going on. I went into the BIOS and it clearly shows 3400 Mhz as the frequency under monitoring. What could be the issue here?

Also, CPUId does not display any memory info.. it's blank. And HWMonitor runs for 2 minutes and then crashes. Not sure why. Windows 10 Pro itself seems stable, at least for now, we'll see :)

Increasing the memory speed

So, just got done with my system build. I have 3000 Mhz Corsair LPX Vengence DDR4 and the BIOS has set it to 2133 Mhz. What do I need to do to get it up to 2933 Mhz which I believe is what others have got this RAM to run. My motherboard is the X370 pro. Pic is attached :)

CPU performance comparisons

not sure why it is flagging as incompatible, strange. I've researched around and the gammaxx400 provides out of the box support for am4 sockets. Also several people have built with exact cooler, MB and CPU :) It uses the latches to attach. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
