i've got a vtech cordless 900 mhz phone that i got about 18 months ago and i'm rather unhappy with it.
the phone doesn't hold a charge worth a can of beans, and whenever i use the headset that i bought to go with it (also a vtech accessory), i have to hold the wire connecting to the phone...
this is no longer available on the website. it went out of stock or something apparently during the 15 minutes i spent to fill out the club registration and fork over my $35.
fwiw, i went to the store in san diego and the drive there is $249 instead of the $219 price it is online.

yeah, BUT, you'de have to be a fo0kin maro0n to pay buy an item from cyber rebate not knowing you were gonna do the rebate. i mean, the stuff is all at least 3-5 times what it should cost (some stuff more than that) and DOES cost at other equally convenient places...
even if only 1 in 3 normal...

another way to get this drive for basically the same price is to get it at buy.com (reg price like $178 i think) and to then use a $30 off $150 c0up0n (which i can't link here, but that dealhunting.com place could hook you up i reckon). i don't think buy.com still has the free shipping on...
while we're bashing fry's, i'll get in on it. they are the worst store. their store is garbage and their "customer service" is trash. there is a fry's less than 200 yards from where i work and live, and i need CDR's badly (have only 2 left), but i'm still not sure i can bring myself...

Check if there is a commitment. I know the MCI one didn't have one, just switched to the AT&T $50 Amazon GC by etrade (been discussed, do a search before you ask). And will do the $50 BlockBuster GC (also been discussed, I received it in the mail...
yah, been doing this for a while now.
if you switch over to MCI, within a couple of weeks, you will get a letter in the mail (i always do at least) from AT&T with a $40 check if you switch over to AT&T. then if you switch over, MCI will call back a week later (like they called me again...
