I have these right now and I really like them a lot. I have had 4 other headsets and this one is BY FAR the best. They are very comfortable with padding on the ears and headband, and the mic provides the clearest, noise-free sound I have heard from a headset.
Highly Recommended...at this...
Wow.
This is very potentially hot because my only (big) complaint with Geeks.com is that their shipping charges make their sometimes very sweet deals, into not-so-hot deals.
Let's hope that they don't raise the price of their items to make up for this promotion.
If you are "lucky" enough to have a MicroCenter nearby, they have DVD+R and DVD-R 8x discs under the WinData brand (rumored to be Taiyo Yuden, but packaging says made in Hong Kong).
14.99 for a 50 pack. Buy 3 or more, 11.99/pack.
I like these buds a lot, as I have problems with buds staying in my ears and these have the wrap around the lobe design.
The only thing is, it's pretty much retail price at $10 anywhere you go. I've seen them at Value City for $6.99. I guess if you consider gas nowadays, it is a deal.
No problems here with the coupon either....
The clerk scanned the coupon, it appeared on the queue on the screen.
Then he scanned in the Seagate drive and then the rest of my items.
He then pressed enter for the total, and a screen came up that said something like, "Apply $20 preferred...
What about a price match with CompUSA?
CompUSA has the drive for 199.99 - $20 Instant Savings = 179.99. Then they have an add'l $40 rebate, but that sucks. :)
So take the CompUSA ad to Circuit City, pricematch the drives using the prices after instant savings, and it should be 10 bucks...
Uh, I ordered some.
You want mine?
Yes, they were that horrid. Half of them were scratched up along the outer tracks of the disc and I got all kinds of read errors. I have a NEC 3520A + latest firmware, and haven't had many problems with any other media.
I will never buy TheTechGeek...
Anyone have an idea of the type of markup on Monster Cables? I'm looking to pick up some component cables but they seem really expensive. Thanks.
Edit - Nevermind, only TVs and Home Audio items.
Some neat items and decent deals, but what they charge for shipping really kills the hotness of the deals.
I've ordered before, but I really can't see myself purchasing from them again due to their shipping cost structure.
I thought the same thing -- But click on the 'Buy Now' button: It sends you to Amazon.com! Discountbedding.us looks like a portal site.

The thing about these certificates:
They aren't activated right away, and in fact, I had to actually email customer service about getting the codes to work. I waited the two days like they suggest, but I really don't think anything happens. You have to be proactive to get your coupons to...
Ok, finally got the drive. I'm not sure what I was waiting for...possibly for the 3540 model to come out so that the 3520A drops in price. But the free optical mouse was the final push.
Good deal, thanks OP.
Probably never buying from eCost.com again.
1) Posted rebates that the manufacturer wouldn't honor
2) When I placed an order and it got cancelled, there was no email or any other correspondence to notify me that it was cancelled and why.
Horrible customer service, overall.
Summary - DO NOT BUY FROM eCOST.
Why?
(What a convienient thread to pop up, I'm am just steaming right now....)
Just got notification via email that the rebate I submitted a month ago for the Viking 512 SD card bought from eCost.com GOT REJECTED. The reason?
"The receipt you submitted...

Hi guys -
I used to keep up a lot with the new tech, but for a couple years now, I fell out of the habit of reading and researching on these sites.
So I was hoping a kind poster could either point me in the direction of a 'current tech' primer, or could just flat out brief me on the current...
What's up with these "PFN_LIST_CORRUPT" and "BAD_POOL_CALLER" I'm getting? I have a KR7A-RAID and I don't know what is going on....But hold on, you say? What about your RAM? Is it bad? Well, I gots some of that (2x)256MB CRUCIAL DDR non-ECC RAM. I ran some RAM tests (docMEM and Memtest86) and...
Well, I just wanted to do this b/c I built a system for my sister, and I don't want her installing all her programs in C:\Program Files. 'Cuz, since she doesn't know any better I know she'll keep the defaults and won't think to change the path. :(
Hmm....Well, over in Pennsylvania right now and through this week is Tax-Free PC *Plus* week. The "plus" means that you can buy peripherals and other computer upgrades tax-free! Before, you had to buy a WHOLE system w/ monitor and everything to get a break. Good time for stuff like this.
Now...
Can someone direct me to a piece of software that is like PowerQuest's Magic Mover?
For instance, you have a program installed on the C: partition and you want to move EVERYTHING(files, registry entries etc...)associated with the program to the D: partition...this program would do it.
I...
I know that Tony Hawk 3 is the only online game right now for the PS2, and I've played it online with a an adapter similar to those. You just plug the USB cable to a port on the PS2 on front and use a spare network/Ethernet connection into the adapter. Now, I'm not 100% sure if the Xircom...
Thanks for the heads up...
I F***ing LOVE MicroCenter!! They always have kickass deals, plus no one knows about it over where I am, so no one goes...PLENTY FOR ME ALL THE TIME!!!
<< I won't buy it until the BUGS are worked out...i've read about WAYYYYY to many problems people are having with crashes and the game NOT EVEN starting. Angry customers returning the game >>
Uuh, if you are gonna buy the game anyways, why don't you buy this NEW game for this cheap price now...
Since because of its conductive properties, Arctic Silver II is justly so not recommended...however, Arctic Allumina which is [i]not[/n] conductive should be.
