Well I am one of them. I have a small case (In Win Chopin) where no dGPU fits in. I know from a functional aspect a dGPU would have been better, but I like this setup and the idea of an APU. I'm also a casual player and am satisfied with lowering settings for games to be playable.

Even with using these 'tricks' to look better the difference seems really big this time around for Vega. Like something is very off and Vega isn't performing as expected for whatever reason.
Although it is not looking good, the gaming Vega card with updated drivers might still show a greater then expected increase in performance (> 10-20%). Who knows, and if it still disappoints somewhat then it's not the end of the world. I still have high hopes for their new APU with Vega included.
Vega uses further optimized compression technique compared to Polaris. Doesn't that save some bandwidth? Also why would a memory overclock with good performance gains indicate a bandwidth issue. Wouldn't the reserved be true?
