    Intel Skylake / Kaby Lake

Notice how none of your post has anything to do with AMD, but somehow someway for some reason the regular defense team came out at full force. More trolling. It's still not allowed. esquared Anandtech Forum Director

    Techspot:Core i7 7700k@4.9G vs. Ryzen 5 1600@4G with Vega 64 & GTX 1080

Their Threadripper review is the only one on the Internet that puts it onpar with mainstream Ryzen and Intel processors. I'm starting to think Steve is just incompetent instead of shilling for the underdog brand.

Who's buying a 6 core Coffee Lake CPU? (Poll Inside)

Another day and another pro-AMD Hardware Unboxed video. Their outler results compared to everyone else's is hilarious.

Ah. The Ryzen "good enuff" salesmen team at it again. The prophecy is complete. Trolling is not allowed Markfw Anandtech Moderator

    Intel Skylake / Kaby Lake

Let the red team use it to troll though. They won't have much ammo left to use after October 5th besides the usual "good enough," "but it costs less," "I get to upgrade to Zen2 on the same board," "Intel and Nvidia are evil. AMD are the good guys."

Anands Core-X power consumption results unique on the Internet

Efficiency goes out of the toilet once you put moar cores into Ryzen. Even worse when you up the clockspeed.

Radeon team chooses Kabylake over Ryzen

They could've use Ryzen on both systems but something made Vega look bad in comparison to Nvidia with that setup.

Radeon team chooses Kabylake over Ryzen

Well if the bottleneck is THIS bad, I too would use the competitor's CPU to show off the latest graphic card.

Radeon team chooses Kabylake over Ryzen

They used a 7700k because there is no better mainstream CPU in the market. Ryzen's "good enuff" ain't good enough for their marketing team.

Radeon team chooses Kabylake over Ryzen

Ryzen? Threadripper? Nah Raja rather have a 7700k that won't bottleneck Vega.

    7700K vs 7800X Techspot review

It is a BIOS driver issue. Most competent reviewers including the one on this website are saying that before jumping into conclusions. Most Youtubers don't even know what they're talking about. PCGamer's ongoing test with constant BIOS update: Virtually no regressed performance in gaming...

    3930k or 7700k for gaming/rendering

Bad recommendation. Ryzen is only onpar with Sandy Bridge in games. If one wants that kind of performance, he/she could've gotten it many years ago.

    Intel Skylake / Kaby Lake

No Ryzen loses more than it wins in productivity against 7800x. There's a reason why Coffee Lake will max out at 6 cores because that's all they will need to keep the performance crown. 1800x at maxed overclock is still slower than a stock 7820x and uses more power. "Mah chip runs on lower...

    Intel Skylake / Kaby Lake

You must be blind if you don't see the 7800x beating the entire Ryzen lineup in multithreaded apps in that review. And the same review from this website.

Who's buying Skylake-X? (You may now change your vote)

Stock 7820x is still faster and more efficient than a maxed overclock Ryzen. And it runs at cool 60's.

Who's buying Skylake-X? (You may now change your vote)

After reading the reviews, AMD has too much compromises and is inconsistent in performance in anything that's not a synthetic benchmark where even a 7800x wins more than it loses against the fastest Ryzen 1800x. Thus I preordered a 7820x and a Taichi!
