Gigabyte 3D aurora

I'm planning on possibly getting the Aurora here shortly, and I like the 2 120s being in the back. Its better to have negative air pressure inside the case than positive pressure. You want that hot air going out as much as possible.

Potential Hot Deal on AMD CPU/Mobo/XP x64 Combo

I wish they would come to Orlando again. Kind of stunk because the first year they did it, I couldn't stay for the whole thing and found out my ticket number was called as a winner for a cpu/mobo combo. :(

Anyone else love HL1, but not buying 2 because of the long delay and all the lies?

All the reasons why I am taking a wait and see approach. I dislike the whole Steam idea, and with all of the issues I have seen where people have bought the game in the store but can't play it due to Steam problems really ticks me off. It appears that with the way the authentication process...

Advice on external/PCI modem

My brother has a mutlitech external modem he said I could have. Are they any good? I have never heard anyone say anything about them. I was less than pleased with an external USR 56k Sportster I had. I put my Diamond SuprExpress back in but I would like to get away from ISA for future...

Alpha 8045 and Socket A DDR mobo

I am looking to upgrade to DDR here soon but would like to keep my Alpha HSF. Any suggestions on mobos that have the room to use this HSF? I would like one that has the C-Media onboard sound if at all possible. Thanks.

Ok, well the icon points to the right place, Ive tried the compatibility tab. I guess I should go into more detail on what happens. I can load into the shell, but when I try to start a game (whether it be single player or online) I get the above mentioned error.

Ive done 2 fresh installs and still no go. I think it may have something to do with my CD-Rom. I am suddenly getting errors when I try to autorun the CD that say "E:\ is not a valid Win32 application". Could the CD-Rom being fuxoring the install?

Well, I went and upgraded to WinXP Pro over the weekend. So far I really like it except for one thing. Now I cant play Half Life. Whenever I try to load it up I get the error "Host_Init: Couldn't load gfx/pallette.Imp". I updated with all of the updates from Microsoft. I have the latest driver...

Whats a Good HSF?

Cant say firsthand, but I have seen reviews and it seems they have it worked out just right. It uses springs for the tension, so you are not just screwing it on straight but against pressure. Did I lose ya? I think I lost myself in that. :D

Whats a Good HSF?

It screws in to hold the big mofo on. I won one of these in a drawing. Im awaiting a new case that I can put it in (PSU gets in the way in my current case) Has to be one of the best made HSF outta the box that I have seen. And I like the fact that you dont have to use one of those 7000k rpm...
