Drivers question

I thought about updating the drivers for my DVD-ROM and CD-RW, but In Device Manager it says "No driver files are required or have been loaded for this device." What exactly does this mean?

IE MAXIMIZED

Sometimes it helps to maximize the window manually, and then close. If that doesn't work, keep trying both techniques fron time to time and it will eventually set. Damn Microsoft.

CD Autorun

I have Windows ME, and for some reason CD Roms and Audio CDs won't autostart anymore. It was working fine last night. Where do I go to reenable this option? edit: auto insertion is enabled in Device Manager thanks

ME and SHutdown/restart

I don't have a solution, but is there a very fine line of color at the top of the screen? It would happen occasionally, and a reset>shutdown would work.

Sorry. I booted with the Ghost floppy, and tried to create a bootable CD but Ghost keeps reporting an error when trying to create the image. At what point exactly should I insert the unformatted CD-R? Should the CD-R be formatted in Windows first? How, or in what form? I have Adaptec and ME...

ME restart prob

One more try. I haven't used standby till today, but in the power cp the standby option is no longer there. In its place is hibernate. I set it to hibernate but nothing happens. Any ideas?

How is Rune (the game)?

I played the singleplayer mode all the way through. It has it's moments, but it also gets boring and monotonous as well. It should have been shorter I think, but it was worth it.

Since the subject has come up, I may as well ask... Somewhere along the line something happened, and there is no money to collect. I've reinstalled Kingpin twice and it's still the same. I've even tried godmode and there is no money to be had from all victims. Any ideas?

"Sync out of range..."

Since I installed 12.00 I now get that message when I shut down my computer. I have a Dell 17" trinitron set at 75Hz with a desktop rez of 12x9x32, and a 64MB GF2. Can this hurt the monitor, comp, or vid card?

Anyone who has used the NVMAX!

Thanks Ben. Here's a strange one: I let the latest build of NVMax d/l and install 12.00, but now it indicates 11.01 as the installed driver, as does the NVdia cp. (shrugs) Anyway, Q3 seems a bit blurry with 11.01.
