I'm looking at a pretty specific use case (sim running Project cars 2) that seems fairly GPU bound, so I'm thinking either will be ok. I think I found an interesting deal locally with a 7700k ($250) and a1080ti. ($550) both nib.

Look at the BenQ 32 2k monitor. Not sure it's 100% but remember it was very good rated door image work. Benqoutlet had them for 360. I run one at work, though I'm just a product manager.

Seems like I should be ok with my modular Corsair 520 if I use an Nvidia 1080. I'll look into a power supply calculator with a list of and parts for a worst case scenario.

I run a 2k 32" monitor with my laptop display as secondary. I leave mail open in my laptop and can shuffle two full screens on my 2560x1440 space. My big question is vr goggles or 12k for a driving sim build.

I'm going to build a rig later this year to run project cars 2 I imagine I'll start with a vr head set, though I may evolve to 3 4k screens. I figure a vega 64 or 1080 are in my future, plus a complementary cpu.
Other than that 512g ssd with a 1 tb HD for storage.
Corsair is having a sale on...
I have a long house with access points at each end. Is there a way to facilitate smart Switching across access points as I move around the house? Set them to same side and channel and let them "fight" I find I'm often at the wing end of the house hooked up to the wrong hotspot with no signal and...
I thought about that, but three screens set up might offset with sheer resolution. It'd be great to see a demo. Perhaps I can talk the local microcenter into setting up a demo rig to support sales.

If you want to save money look into a 32" 2k 2560x1440 BenQ had a refurbished one in their outlet for 379. I love mine, though the latency might be a bit high if you're super picky and playing twitch games. I don't do anything faster than driving sims though project cars 2 may lie me into a...
This seems like the first opportunity to build a great sim. I have a wheel set and an old recaro seat. Trying to decide whether you invest in vrv goggles or a few 4k monitors... Perhaps split the difference and buy a few 2k 32" monitors. I've had great luck with my BenQ I'm a long time talk...
