I am looking to upgrade an ATX computer with a different motherboard. Do all motherboard manufacturers include this template for my case? It's been awhile since I upgraded a motherboard that I can't remember....
If not, can I purchase just the I/O port template? Where?

Removed mainboard and reinstalled, to check for grounding problem (twice), same problem
I also removed the RAM and the mainboard beeped the memory error.
I reinstalled the RAM and then removed the video card and the mainboard beeped the video error.
Okay...I've tried everything you guys have suggested, I still have a computer that won't boot. I guess I better start looking for some new hardware.....

The CPU and PSU fans are working. When I first switch the computer on, the keyboard lights go on then off and the power light on the front of the computer is on....damn gremlins....
The monitor also switches on when the system is powered up.
I am not getting any POST errors. I will try removing the battery to clear the CMOS.
Could another culprit be the IDE hard drive cable? I'll try replacing it this afternoon....other than that, I'm gonna have to say the mainboard is flaky.
Any other suggestions?
There are no jumpers to clear the BIOS on the particular motherboard I have, even though the manual shows it....any other way to clear the BIOS and CMOS?

Same thing happened to me when I was building a system recently. Check to make sure the jumpers are set on the hard drive correctly. That's what my problem was anyway :o
That's exactly what I've done, but it always recognizes the CPU as a 166MMX. Later I found that some specs that say it will accept upto a 200 Classic and 166MMX. The board is a Gigabyte GA-586ATS.
