    Everything I have heard is to scrape off the TIM (pad) and clean with alchohol (not beer), don't touch the surface, apply grease and clamp down. The TIM is there to prevent people from accidently burning up the CPU, but doesn't work nearly as well as grease.

    I think your processor can run a lot hotter than 33C. I wouldn't worry unless it is getting up over 45C at least. Just my 2 cents.
