VERY VERY IMPRESSIVE! I just can't belive it!

Wow..what can i say. I can't belive it. Using new encoding algorithms, a team have managed to compress an 11 minute, fully 3d rendered, full screen fly-by of a castle - into only 64KB!!!!! That's right. I could belive it myself, but have a look for yourself: http://www.theproduct.de/fr08_final.zip

Minumum # of fans in a computer

Depends. A standard system comes with a fan on the cpu and one on the psu. On the newer video cards there is also a fan, so it varies between 2 and 3.

Virtual Memory Problems

You shouldn't be having any problems. But see if switching the swap file over to the master hdd and putting the minimum and maximum at a fixed 256mb helps. I know that most people say you should use twice your amount of ram but with anything at or above 256 it doesn't really matter.

Are you sure it's the k/b? I know of viruses that do that, tel your friend to go and test out the k/b on another pc. If it still screws up then you'll have to get a new one.

The cure to end the need for sleep?

I find it quite easy to stay awake for 2 - 3 days. All i need is my pc, few movies, pizza, beer/pepsi/jolt cola and some games to play on my pc. It is ecspecially easy at lans, i stayed awake for 3 days playing ut, cs and q3a at the last lan i went to. The only downside is that after about 2...

How do I tell if I have MMX????

Theres no such thing as an MMX mobo. It's your CPU that is or isn't. If you processor is anything past a Pentium 1 then it will be MMX enabled. Or if you have an AMD processor, if it's later then a K6-2 then it's MMX enabled.

AGP 1x/2x/4x/Pro ?

What kind of difference in rendering speed could you expect between the different speed AGP interfaces? I have an AGP 1x slot on my motherboard, and i wanna know if it would be worth my money getting something like a GF2 MX.

unable to set refresh rate

When you say they said the refresh rate goes upto 85Hz, did they specify that it does 85Hz @ 1024x768? Try knocking down the resolution to 800x600 then take a look at the refresh rate options, if theres a 85Hz then thats what they meant.

I need a good Video Card, recommend??

Stay away from the Radeon 32mb cards, there just no good. Go with a geforce2 MX. Also, i dont think that a score of 6000+ is atainable using a gf2 mx, at least at the stock speed.
