I have a very wide monitor and, basically, want to make the desktop a window I can move around the monitor (ie: move it to one side if I want a video playing in the center of the screen.)
Changing the resolution wouldn't work because I still would like to move the desktop around and...

You could buy the second one so they matched, and keep the original that isn't a match as a backup in case one blows some night. May keep you from getting a ticket having that spare bulb!

To be fair, it *is* develpment. Or should say *was*. I've never beta'd anything that didn't look like virtual crap until it was getting close to release, say the last phase or two of beta when they'd crank up the graphics engines, and add a lot of the "fluff".
