Title says it all. I can not see why I would need XP Pro for a HTPC, and Home has better system requirements. So does anyone know why I would not use home?

Agreed I would have to pick up the MB... but if it can do it that is a great deal 3.7Ghz 64-bit CPU with MB for around $200 - $230. I just dont know if it will fly at 3.7 and if the Asus can CPU lock free this new cpu...
Ok so what would yield better over all system and gaming proformance...
a P4 socket 775, 506 2.66 with 64bit (fsb at 166 cpu running at 3.33Ghz)
or
a P4 socket 478 Northwood 2.26 (200 fsb running at 3.4Ghz)
It's the ram timing that Im thinking about and over all the Northwood will out...

is there any preformance hit for going with a low profile card? it just seems so much smaller. I wonder it it heats up more because there is less room to spread.
PriceWatch has Samsung or Micron 512 sticks on generic PCB pc2700 333mhz 2.5 for 68 shipped at many places. Why you you not pick that? Wouldnt the quality be just as much as a toss up as this?
