I have an interesting problem. Interesting at least to me :-) I cannot connect to Rainbow Six Siege servers without VPN. This issue started recently and I am 100% sure that it is isn't because of some changed settings in my PC or router. I can connect to other online video game servers but this...
There are 28 different 240 Hz monitors on the market. I repeat: 28 different monitors which support 240 Hz! Here is the list: https://www.displayninja.com/gaming-monitor-list/
The list only has 27 monitors because it does not include MSI Oculux NXG251R which MSI release a few months ago. So in...
I use my machine as a gaming machine and workstation. Where did you get that it it's only for mainstream use? I know 9900k is on the mainstream platform but 9900k is where the line gets blurred.
ROFLMAO. If you think it is wrong, you don't do it. But I need 8 cores because I am running...
Lately, my Ryzen system (the one in the original post) started to crush with any ram speed above 2666MHz. More sadly, it cannot go above 3.7GHz recently (probably as a result of degradation), even with 1.4volt.
I already had an inch to switch to Intel since 8700k came out, as you have read in...
I could not be happier :D :D :D
Sorry AMD :P

How does Exchange Server know that a user's request is from intranet? A user from intranet can access his/her own emails just by typing exchange server's URL which is https://remote.companydomain.com/owa
But no one outside intranet can access his/her own emails by using this address. They have...
I will be getting a Dell UltraSharp U2715H as a second monitor. It seems like exactly what I need: 27inch and 1440p (the same pixel density as PG279Q); IPS Panel; good color reproduction.
I am currently using a PG279Q at home. At work, in my company we all use multiple monitor setups and therefore at home I feel like I am missing something. At home I game, I do programming and video editing fairly often. A second monitor would be very nice but the problem is I am not sure if I...
I figured out why I am getting lower temps. It seems they changed the way that the mainboard LED displays the CPU temperature. When I run a program like HWinfo or Real Temp or AIDA64, they all show the same number. The only different number is on the CPU led. It is supposed to show the CPU temp...
New BIOS 4.40 lowered my temps quite a bit. For example, under load I got at least 6-7 degrees lower (probably more). I did not measure carefully and cannot compare well as I do not have exact numbers.
Anyone else experiencing this? How is this possible?

Old Ryzen 1600 score: 3636
New Ryzen 2600 score: 4269 !!!!!
The boost: 17% !!! Wow wow wow
I have been reading about Ryzen CPUs coming in 2018. Some call them Ryzen 2 and some Ryzen+.
Considering the old performance leaps between previous generation AMDs (be it a large or small leap), how much performance increase can we expect in terms of gaming? 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% ... ?
I am asking...
I can't get past 1.3v on CPU because if I get past it, my CPU downclocks to 1.5GHz. If you google "downclocking to 1.5ghz", you will see lots of people experiencing the same. Also, my temps are already high. Overclocking Intel was easier. That is another reason that I am disappointed with my...
Hello,
I am disappointed with my Ryzen 1700. I lost the silicon lottery and got a bad CPU. It does not overclock well. I am stuck with 3700MHz. With Nzxt Kraken x62, it is 45°C at idle and 75°C under load. My vcore is 1.25v. With anything less this vcore, the system is not stable. CPU Load line...
