My fan died:(

My Vantec Aeroflow fan decided to quit.(only 4 month old) :( I was playing a game without the fan running for a couple more minuts, didnt notice untill the game started to slow down. I shut down my PC then touched the HS, it's very hot! I'm wondering if my CPU is permanently damaged and if...

Digital camera or 35mm and scanner?

I have a Canon A-1 too, great camera! If image quality is the only concern, SLR + negative scanner is propabaly better than a 4mp DC assuming you have the proper lenses, unless you are into microphotograghy.

What's wrong with AGP???

I have a Radeon LE on a CUSL2 mobo. An error once occured in a game: "out of video memory". The AGP setting in BIOS is 32MB, but when I check Sandra 2001 -> video system, it shows "AGP 8MB" !!! Then I switched the BIOS to 64MB and check again, now "AGP 24MB"?! No...

Forsa Geforce2 MX?

from what i learned, forsa uses low quality ram (7ns) and is lower clocked (175/166mhz). i got my radeon le for $127CDN shipped + tax, a much better deal IMO...

how many SPAMs do you get in your active email every day??? i already gave up a primary email address since it got SPAMed nearly 20 times a day. my current email gets 5+ per day:-{ and i just use ICQ to delete them remotely, never download to my HD;)

totally agree with Optimus, i'm so glad that the Lindros deal is off. what leafs need is a couple of tough wingers(both physically and mentally) and experienced defense.

2 X p3-700 or p3-700@933?

win9x doesnt take advantage of dual cpu for multithread. in nt/2k, i think dual 700 would be faster, at least for multitasking.
