Possibly in response to the cnetpc price, newegg has also dropped their price to $100 including free shipping. Does anyone know what (besides raw drivers) comes with the OEM version. Are there any utilities, like a DVD player?

For Athlon systems, do most people go with front (intake) fans as well as rear fans? The AMD document on air flow and cooling AMD cooling info indicates that their testing shows a front fan unnecessary, and sometimes harmful. Anyone have any evidence (or strong opinions) one way or the other...

IBM 75GXP's as cheap as i have seen w/o coupons.

OK, I got one of the 48G drives a week or 2 ago from buy.com. It shipped as a bare (OEM) drive (which is what mwave has for $148). What do you get for the additional $39 if you get the "retail" version? A manual?

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! X-Gamer $49..

A comment here has me wondering - is there any difference between the SB Live Value, X-gamer, and MP3 besides the software bundle? They certainly look the same from the specs on Creative's web site.
