Win2k cannot copy install files???

I have disabled DMA, i attempted to install all of them in PIO modes 1 and 4 in seperate instances, but neither installs would work. I have tried 3 different warez copies, and 4 Microsoft original CD's, i have even tried 3 different brands of CDR's, i figure that if the direct HDD install doesnt...

256mb vs 512 mb on a KT7

Is raid worth it? A7V133 vs MSI turbo

Raid is hella worth it IMO, - speed - redundancy - spanning (combine smaller drives as one large) - extra IDE connectors (DVD, CDRW, ZIP IDE, and a lot off HDD's) - cost is not much more than non-raid - better resale value in future (if you sell it)

KT7 - Raid experts..

I have 2 maxtor 15Gb 7200rpm on Raid 0, and i want to mirror them.. Is it possible to buy 1 30GB to mirror the entire 15+15 array or must I buy another 2 15GB's?? Thanks!

I'm upgrading my generic stick of pc133/64mb to a pc133/128 piece and I wanna know whether i should put my money on (a) Mushkin Rev2 133 (b) mushkin Rev3 133 (c) mushkin PC150 HSDRAM or (d) Crucial -7E pc133 cas2. Given that they all run at 133/cas2 and I dont really care about the price too...

Abit kt7 raid ata66 controller question, what did you do to make it work?

I think that the latest BIOS update should clear that up, Try one of Abit's BeTA bioses that upgrades the HPT370 Bios to 1.0.3, thats what i'm using and it runs my Diamond Max 45plus (15GB x 2) in Raid 0 under 2k/nt4/98se with out a hiccup..

Comments Wanted on fan setup!

Consider the fan noise, you may need all of them to cool your case, and the extra CFM may not help your overclock if you are already stable., start off with less and add more if needed, save yourself some effort and cash.
