Darkhawk28 And your happy with that(73% - 80% solvent)? Or it doesn't affect you so you do not consider it a problem? LordSnailz, for me it means extra money. Look at Darkhawk28 and he says after 2042 then its only 73% - 80% solvent. Does that sound good for you or your children...

Problems with ati install

Is there something I am doing wrong... In win 2k I try to install the drivers and it comes up and tells me I need to install a VGA adapter driver first... Ok np Then it won't install the VGA adapted lol. Is there a easy fix for this. I just seem to missing something. If anyone has any...

Need a mobo recommendation for AthlonXP

Can't Decide: Win2K or WinXP

If you don't mind the product activation of WinXP and your moving from Say a Win9x Operating System go for it. But if you have Win2k in my opinion I'd stay with it. WinXP is not that big a upgrade from Win2k in alot of ways. Some of the reasons I wouldn't go to WinXP...ok 2 reasons. 1...

Windows XP universal hard drive problem! READ THIS!!

I had this problem just about 2 weeks ago. I use WIn2k and the problem occured after I received a BSoD for a invalid page fault. My drive made this funny clicking sound about have way thru their drive test. Not sure what is was. I have a 45 gig 75gxp drive. So the tech at IBM says run this...

2 w2k questions

To change you login and how your computer logs in you can do this. right click my computer and select properties select the Network Identification tab Click Netwrok ID and follow the instructions (works for home user) Try that and it should work. I don't know about your second question though...

NTFS file system question

Is there any way to get rid of a NTFS partitian on a hard drive and format to say Fat32 ? Have a older 7 gig drive not in use and want to put it in a system thats not going to run windows2k or NT or anything... Or am I SOL ? thanks

Win2k Networking

You should not have one bit of problem with Win2k and Networking. I have essentually the same setup as for computers on a Netgear router. Netowrking took 3 mins to set up, besides setting the permissions :=) Other than that :) it was a breeze Have a good one :=)

EverQuest On Win2k???

I get that same problem with My GeForce 2gts 32 ddr Card and Win 2k Not sure what it is, but seems to only happen in EQ when I am not in full screen mode, though I do get screen flashes in full screen mode. But other than that annoyance.. EQ runs great on win2k.

Mwaves memory...

Mwave is not small by any means... They are however very efficent and also very good to their customers. I'd buy from Mwave almost every time if the price is just a few dollars more, they treat their customers good and have reasonable and competive prices. Their shipping is comparable also.

Microsoft XP.... I think its time to start looking towards Linux...

To me, I will go with whatever works.. When I first started in computers, I was new to DOS and and Windows... Not like I can't adapt to something new in time. To me, the Windows XP is where I leave Microsoft if they go thru with this registration deal and Authorization codes. I don't mind...

Why does @Home suck for people

I just ordered my Netgear Router... after looking and reading for countless hours... You can go to practically networked and they have a good comparison chart of all the routers of they can and can't do and what each has for features etc etc I hope I made a good choice lol :)
