You are right buddy, There are some known issues with wired/wireless on mac. Your browsing speeds are slow compared to windows. With Apple router it is little faster but not significantly.

I haven't installed windows thru boot camp. For sure it will be sharp. I connected MBP and Windows machine to the same LCD and yes there is difference due to the way they use pixel rendering.
My other question is Photos are shown more clear on the MBP than windows.

I burned a data dvd in sony dru-500a using nero. I am able to read the same data from the same burner.
But Acer 1640 or my thinkpad is not able to recognize the media.
