what exactly is ASP?

just another server side language. learn php and mysql first, then pick up asp. asp is pretty damn easy compared to the php and sql duo.

def as they stated, LEARN WITH NOTEPAD. it's the best way to learn the simple syntax and tags. however once you are experienced, hand coding can take a while. i use dreamweaver for complex tables and homesite to check syntax if dreamweaver gets sloppy. try not to use any wysiwyg editors...

Photoshop Questions

no, resolution and dpi are very different. resolution is how many pixels (dimensions) and dpi is DOTS PER INCH if you're only viewing on the computer, a dpi of 72 is fine. however if you are going to print or enlarge, a dpi of 300 or more is needed

Best place to start? NEVER used PhotoShop.

just search the net for the thousands upon thousands of tutorials. dont do the tutorial just to make thepicture, instead learn the tools and techniques. it'll take a while but the tuts will work fine. also dont be afraid to ask forhelp. ive been photoshopping for about a year and never...

my tv-out is not working, please help

I have a cardexpert geforce2 mx400 64mb with tv-out. I connected the s-video to my tv, but when I go to twinview to detect the TV, it does not detect it. Are there steps to follow, as booting up at a res and then turning on the tv? I'm using the newest detanator drivers. Please help, thanks

i have an agp cardexpert geforce2mx 400 64mb with Tv-out. I have the s-video connected to my Television. I boot up and go to the twinview tab. It only detects my monitor and if i click detect..it doesnt find anything. when i hit video on my tv the screen looks all grey and fuzzy. any ideas?

no but i am running RAIN to keep the cpu cooler. is it true they utilize all of the cpu usage to run HLT commands? is it dangerious for the cpu?

my celly 566@850 is always at 100% cpu usage. i dont understand it. but the thing is that the pc feels perfectly fine, not sluggish or laggy. the hd is not grinding either. i have 384pc100 kingston sdram. wat could be the problem?

ok one of the white clamps that holds the SDRAM in place BROKE OFF! now i just lost 128mb ram. i currently have 256, but i really want my ram slot back. is there somehow to still use that ram bank? or is there a way to fix it? thanx

Is 1.95 volts with 566@850 celly too high??

ok i brought the voltage back to 1.85..becasue it still crashed at 1.95~! but guess wat. i realized it only crashes wen i play counterstrike. hrs of stab test and quake BOTH do not yield any errors/lockups/reboots. the system is fine. it tops at 35degrees celcius. wat could be wrong? i...

yea i had it at 83fsb for a few months, but lately the comp has been acting weird, i guess my hd is finally reacting to the oc in pci bus. i had random shutdowns more frequently. ok thanx, ill try to burn it down to 1.9 or 1.85

i have a celeron 566@850 1.95volts on a be6. it crashes at 1.9 so i bumped the voltage on my abit slocket to 1.9 and set the bios to 1.95. i ran the cpu warming test on the CPU Stability Test, and temperatures maxed at 35celcius. I have a golden orb running with thermal paste (not arctic...
