I just saw Nathan Fillion's cameo on The Big Bang Theory (God does he look fat and bloated) and I got curious about his net worth. Surprisingly its only 20 million.
I would have thought Castle alone would have accounted for more than that. Maybe he's one of those "can't take it with you" guys...
The ground underneath me feels like it' getting slippery.
I'm not selling anything big anymore until I feel some sort of resolution. I bought back green puts worth about $15000 of stock today and I'm going to keep buying back as much as I can.
Oy vey. My second cold shower within a week.
POSH collapsed after hours on weak guidance. I have Feb puts at $24 and got about $4000 for them so my cost basis on those potential shares is $20.
I guess I'll just leave them and if nothing improves by Feb I'll use them as a capital loss write off...
So I tried something new today. I bought 1000 shares of VBIV and sold calls under my cost basis. Granted - they're pretty close: the CB is like 3.03 and the calls are at 3. I've never done that.
I got $1500 for selling the calls expiring Jan 2023. I figure if I'm lucky and VBIV stays over 3 its...
Academically I believe I could easily make it through. I'd do better than the first time.
Socially? I wouldn't last two weeks. Did you know you can get brutally mocked and humiliated in HS these days if you don't have enough followers on social media?
Yeah, I'm not sure I'd mess with Peleton right now.
Any thoughts on VBIV (vaccine manufacturer)? They're at $3 right now, rated as a strong buy.
I was thinking about buying 1000 shares to see where it goes. I could hedge my exposure by selling far out 3.5 calls for around $1200.
The more I think about it the more bassackwards it is.
C3PO had no innate offensive capabilities. I assume he could handle a simple blaster but none was available in that situation. His only weapon as a protocol droid was superior communication.
His basic programming should have defaulted to...
A movie popped into my head that I used to get extremely high to with friends in college. I don't want to ruin the plot but it stars Treat Williams and Joe Piscapo and back then I thought it was a riot.

I think the answer is clear.
C3PO was at one time an evil robot. The evil part of his programming was not completely erased.
Humanoids are expendable. Subjugating lesser species is much higher up in his programming hierarchy.
Well, the fact that a protocol droid cannot harm a humanoid, or by inaction allow one to be harmed would seem like a logical tenet for any civilization that can produce such droids.
Did the Ewoks eat the bodies of the dead storm troopers? Ewww.
So I'm watching a little of RotJ and C3PO is willing to let the humans in his group be cooked alive over open fire, all because of some obscure rule that doesn't allow him to impersonate a deity. This CLEARLY violates the first law of robotics.
Who programmed this tin headed moron? He's a...
When I had big loans my credit score was perfect quite a few months over the past 5-7 years. Now that I've paid off
2 car loans
a furniture store card
my Best Buy card
and
let my Sears card with a $20000 balance lapse and get canceled
canceled my Barclaycard Elite World Traveler because...
Golf can be a very good hobby, provided you can get off the tee.
Being able to drive is the single most important aspect of recreational golf. If you can't drive nobody decent will want to play with you.
Ouch. Gonna take a bath on DCPH.
Thank God its only one contract. When it comes to pharmaceuticals its better to sell one contract on 10 different companies than 10 contracts on one.
I love selling puts on penny stocks that have decent outlooks. There's a lot of money there.
I just sold 10 contracts at 2.5 on a stock called IO (energy exploration). They just released their ER and the stock predictably cratered to 2 so I got $1200 for them. As long as IO doesn't fall below...
I'd sell it and buy 10-12 shares of something like XELA that could pop at some point, especially if it becomes a meme stock.
Or leave it until you retire and buy a bottle of booze.
There are most certainly teams out there doing diligence on Henry Ruggs right now because he's a talented player. Things such as how long he will be in jail, the PR consequence of signing him, how much it would take to sign him etc.
Its the world we live in.
I had 1000 shares of AMD when it oscillated between $8 and $10.
I think it even dropped under $8 once and the next time it "popped" up to $11 I couldn't flush the turd fast enough. I think it was over $20 fairly quickly after that. The thought of it makes me MAD.
I thought I was so smart back...
Ugh.
Sometimes seeing a stock price for the first time in a while is like seeing an old girlfriend who got really hot since you broke up.
I had MARA when it was in the 20's but I dumped it for some reason. To buy something else or avoid a margin call. Now its over $60.
Does anyone here still remember the IRTC thing? Was that last year or this year? Everything sort of runs together since the pandemic.
I've been sitting on those 100 shares since then and its been a real turd. Today something happened. Not sure what.
This thread was a lot more active back...
Pelosi is worth $120 mil. Its not a political issue.
Her husband is conveniently labeled as an "investor" and "venture capitalist'. He's the flunky that applies all of the info she gets so she isn't exposed by making trades herself.
I like some mentioned already. I'm a sucker for good caramel. Just love it. A great caramel apple is probably my favorite dessert type thing. Apple and caramel complement each other well.
I like anything Teriyaki flavored if its done well.
I like good Ginger ale. Tsing Tao, the beer with a...
You gotta do your research and not waver in your beliefs and instincts that result from it.
For me the only reason not invest in FUBO (or at least sell options on it) is if you're convinced it'll go bankrupt eventually. Its in a good space and they have good ideas. So a while back, when FUBO...
Lets be honest: the decision by the Packers (Rodgers) not to kick the field goal at the end to make it a 6 point lead was the most mentally deficient moment of the year so far.
Hey! - looks like I finally nailed one.
I sold a bunch of MQ puts at 20 and 22.5 when it was hovering under 25. Now they made a deal with bill.com and MQ is soaring.
I sold as many options on renewables as I could. I tried to spread them around.
On the flip side - why in the hell are people selling EPD a day before the ex. div date?
