There have been two times now in the last week that I have wanted to save a webcast that I have opened up with windows media player. If I right click and "save target as" it just saves the link to the website but not the video file that I want. These are acoustic guitar videos. I want to save...
Wow!, Thats great news. I bought this motherboard for its upgrade potential. I am currently runnig an XP 1600 at XP 1800+ speed. Just looked at wcpuid and shows chiipset C1. I can still get a lot out of this board yet.
I have a few tracks that are about 1 minute in length. I would like to loop them so they can play as long as I would like them to.
I've searched on google but cant find anything specifically for looping mp3 files. Anyone know of a program for such a thing?
Thanks
Helping my brother-in-law.
He will play a few games. Nothing special required. I owned a Radeon 7500 once. Was decent. I was thinking of going with that. Do you have a better suggestion?
Thanks
Cool, glad to see this thread is still going strong. That is too bad that about Soltek USA. Guess i'll cherish this board a little more.
I havnt been benchmarking anymore. been playing Mafia (almost done, sweet game!) About to play Splinter Cell. This new system takes everything I throw at it...
I've never used them. I want to try one. Just want to light up the inside of my case. I went to svc.com and notice some of the cathodes say "dual inverter" ans some say "tube only". What do I need to simply light up the inside of my case? And what are the different effects between these choices.
I just used a %15 off and %10 off stackable coupon at Dell to get this printer. I've seen The canon S820 posted here recently for $106.00. but with shipping, it put it over $120.00.
This is for the Small Business section. The %15 is for various items. There is nothing specific listed about...
The results are in. My cpu temps have dropped 5c. This sk-7 is awesome! Now to see if I can get closer to 2gig. I'll up my vdd and take the vcore to 1.8 for starters. I have a passive heatsink on the south bridge so that should help me up the vdd.
I Am picking up my new SK-7 + vantec stealth tomorrow. And then I will raise some voltages to see if I can get a little more juice out of this system. Right now 175x10.5 seams to be the sweet spot. I've had it up to 185 fsb but didnt pass prime95.
Bentvalve: All I can say about your case...
Dreamcat, That looks like an awesome system your putting together! Nice choice on the Golden Flame, welcome to the club.
As far as your other choices, I havnt heard of that power supply you have chosen. If it were me I would buy either an Antec or Enermax P/S. If your going to spend $60.00 get...
Would those of you golden flame owners post your +12v rails. I'm curious how this board is reading your 12v. I just got a new enermax 350w and mine dips as low as 11.795.
The +12v dips as low as 11.795. I just bought my new ENERMAX EG365P-VE(FC) 350W Power supply from newegg last week. It's the first time I spent this much money on a power supply. Typically have used generic. Frankly I was expecting more from it.
Is it me or is this 12v rail too low for this...
I'm am not sure how safe this is. I've read of others doing this. Right now my settings are 175x10.5 with ram settings 8 4 4 3. I would like to get my ram at 7 3 3 2.5. It wont post with those settings right now. I have 2x 256mb Corsair XMS 2700.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
There's always something better around the corner. I ususally get a motherboard that will support the up and coming cpu's. That way your system will be upgradable for awhile.
Is there much of a difference in using an external modem over a hardware modem? I'm assuming there is because of the vast difference in price. I've seen them cheap on ebay. $20.00 shipped that is.
I uninstalled Soltek HM 2.05 and went back to 2.04. I couldnt stand looking at the ABSII temps anymore! I'm too use to seeing the old temp readings. ;)
Ok, I modded a heatsink I had from an old socket 7 htsk/fan laying around. After cutting it down with a hack saw, filing the edges. I applied a small amount of thermal paste to the SB and a small amount of adhesive in the corner.
So far I am able to hit some better speeds stable. I was getting...
So far My board seams to be most stable at 175x10. I set my ram at 7 3 3 2.5. The tbred A is what seams to be holding me back. I've had the fsb up to 185, but I dont have great cooling. I ordered another stick of 256mb corsair xms last night, While running some bench marks last night I could see...
That is what I would like to hit anyway.
I have the new Soltek Sl-75frn2-l mobo. It has the latest c1 rev N/B. I have a Athlon XP 1700+ t-bred A. The dfault vcore on this chip is 1.5v. I am using a 256mb stick of Corsair XMS 2700. I have the vcore at 1.575v right now.
Right now I am at...
