VX922 OWNER'S

I just bought a VX922 to use alongside my VX910 and its noticeably brighter and sharper. I use the 922 for gaming and picture quality is fantastic... no complaints at all, considering now the 922 costs around half the price of the 910 when i bought it...

Leadtek 6600GT vs XFX 6600GT??

I have the leadtek 6600gt (agp version) and it works great, very stable and no temperature problems. Performance-wise is great also. However one strange thing I've noticed is that the card fan spins at different speeds depending on whether it's currently doing 2d or 3d rendering. During games...

DVI vs VGA

From personal experience, going from vga to dvi cable on my viewsonic 19" lcd, there was very little difference between the image quality, as far as i can see anyway. So don't fret if you can't get a dvi connection going, vga should be fine. Don't take my word for it though, there are other...

DVI port not working on TI4200 - some trick to enabling it? - RESOLVED

actually, there's nothing special to be enabled for dvi display... when i had my ti 4200 i plugged in dvi to my lcd and it worked exactly the same as the vga cable... so u might want to check your cable perhaps?

Extra 512mb stick in a dual channel a7n8x deluxe

hi guys, i've been running 2 x256mb pc2700 sticks (generic no brand) in my a7n8x deluxe, and wanted to add another 512mb stick to make it a gig. but doing so i will lose dual channel, and i can't find anywhere to sell my 256 sticks so i can get 2 512mb ones.. is this recommended? i don't think...

LiteOn LTC-48161H read problems

today i just bought the LiteOn LTC-48161H combo DVD/CDRW drive and replaced the old Aopen 24x burner in my PC (running XP, secondary master)... it's detected and everything but when i put a cd in, the drive spins up but nothing happens... when i double click the drive it opens a window that is...

A7V133 no boot

i just threw in a 13gb hard drive into the a7v133 athlon 1.2ghz system i was running, with this new drive set to master by itself when i power up the system though fans start spinning, drive lights light up but no POST beep and it just sits there doing nothing... no signal to the monitor etc...

Can't run higher than 640x480x16 in GTA3!

go to options, highlight the res and press the LEFT and RIGHT arrows on keyboard then press ENTER to set the res maybe i'm the only one that got a bit stumped by this one hehe

IRC DCC Resumes

well here's the problem... sometimes i'm getting a file via DCC and it stuffs up eg. computer blows up i rejoin and request the pack again, and it opens the dcc send box saying "requesting resume" however, it just stays there and doesn't resume.... and i have to get the file all over again...

whenever i open something like liveupdate, or sisoft sandra update for example, after a few seconds, the window just disappears... i know that it's still running because i can see it in the processes when i ctrl-alt-del (winxp pro btw)..but they are not in the taskbar. and now the strange thing...

hey there, i've got an athlon tbird 1.2 running on a cheapo no brand 300w power supply... it's been fine for the past year... but now every time i try to turn on my computer it begins to start up... the fans start spinning etc... but before the first BIOS beep comes up the whole thing shuts down...

i think u should try running Cheating Death and minimise it before u run CS get it from www.cheating-death.com u don't need to install anything for CSguard it works automatically
