Verbatim 48x12x48 cd-rw 19.99 after rebates

Update on the OptoRite. Windoze says it is a Cendeyne 48x16x48. I installed it and Roxio 5.1.X platinum would not reconize it. I updated to 5.3.X and burned a small ( 40mb ) file. It was on some OLD cheap disk but it burnrd at the max ( 8 ) of the disk. Think I will keep it to stick in a spare...

Win 98se, 2000, or XP

Thanks for those reply's. I was just worried about how big a hit I would take ( if any ) by sticking with 98se. If I cant tell the difference with the eye, then I will be happy. Not concerned with benchmarks or anything like that. Just want to fly, shoot and kill without stutters and glitches...

Just built my first computer

One hell of a nice machine you have there. One word of caution, building puters can be very addictive :-). I started about 2 years ago just like you. Built one for myself. Loved it so much I have probably built 20 to 25 since and have had to almost give them away to get them out of the house...

Why won't my BIOS show up on my KT7 Pro 2a

I just replaced a K7-Pro with a K7T-Pro-2A and noticed that sometimes I get that. I solved it by just tapping hell out of the delete key right after the HIT DEL TO RUN SETUP pops up on the screen. Have noticed it boots slower than the K7-Pro erg
