Antec Sonata III: $79.99 shipped at Buy.com

Corsair 620HX vs 750TX

I just thought of a question maybe someone here can answer.. Whats so good about a modular power supply? In working with video games and pinballs, one of the 1st things to fail is the connector(heat). So is there a reason why they went to modular and added a connector(other than looks)?

thanks for the advice. I was thinking 500w was a bit weak. I will pick up a larger one and use the 500 on the lesser system. So something around 800w is what I would need for SLI. I need a decent power supply to fix a 5v problem in one of my pinballs, the old one will go to good use...

Consolidated Antec deal thread

I had a sonata 3 case thats its antec 500 earth watts failed after being on for about 2 min. I got a replacement case and the power supply was fine. What was interesting, is the PS that failed supposedly had 2 12v 17a rails. But the 2nd case says it has 2 12v 21a rails.

plus add to the problem of using the coupon. It does not work on sale items. The store clerk has to override it. So if you buy 3 14.99 movies it will be hard/impossible for them to do it. So try to have one blu-ray thats more than $20 and then you have a chance.
