Yes, yes I have. Why? Because AGP users need to be aware that the move to a high end AGP card at this point is NOT money well spent. If someone had told me the same I may have opted to move to PCIe, but no... I looked around and found lots of people claming they were going to have one last GPU...

Please elaborate. The only area in dispute is that I didn't put the card in a different system. And you're right. I didn't. XFX did. And they found it faulty. Great points. 1) I did swap out the PSU, but there is that slim chance that both my PSU were failing, despite them working fine...

I could see those issues if XFX themselves weren't telling me these cards are faulty. How is that not testing the card in another system? Also, the original (until it corrupted) and the 6600GT I had for a year before it worked perfectly.

Good RAM and Mosfet sinks for the 8800GT?

Probably not the solution you want, but I just used the long extra heat sink from my Accelero S1 that my 8800GT didn't need. Cut it up into usable pieces and threw it onto the mosfets.

Computer won't boot. No BIOS, nothing.

Replaced the MB. Problem solved. But new trouble has shwon up. My Creative Labs Audigy isn't being recognized by the creative drivers. Preliminary searches show it to be an issues with the APIC writting to the EEPROM on the card?!?! Grrr.

So that if it had been a bad board, I would be able to reload my drives image and keep on trucking with minimal downtime. Any recommendations for a sub $75 P4 board (I was thinking a refurb newegg). Would the P4P800S be a decent match?

Downloads "pausing" in the middle?

I had this problem a while back too. Unfortunately I don't recall thie fix but it was either a Firewall setting or a router setting. Are you using either? IIRC it was ZoneAlarm for me -are you using this?

I'd wager that you didn't notice it right after the new MB install 3 weeks ago, because one doesn't always leave a CD in the drive. No CD in the drive = Hard drive bootage.

New WinXP Audigy drivers at Creative's site.....

Maybe a coincidence, but I used to have crackling sound with the last driver set when I set the digital output sampling rate to 96Hz. I no longer hear the crackling! Not certain it's the new drivers yet though -I'll keep playing around with 'em, but so far so good!
