I'm available for a new DC project, but there are restrictions (need input from those on different DC projects)

The fundamentally different thing with ECCp is that it doesn't download any work units. The units are created within the client and only sent out. Hence only outgoing proxy support is present on the client.

OT - Which dual AMD motherboard to get?

Tiger MP and Asus A7M266-D here. Both have been okay, except that the Asus just exhausted a Antec 350W PSU. I just came from the store with a trupower 550W one :(.

Future plans for TA DCers (formerly: How many for SETI when ECCp-109 is over?)

Posty's farm will do RC5 if it's still around after ECCp. If not, then it's more clouded.. Probably OGR or one of the folding projects, depending on the hardware demands.

On a related note, if you're using Ipaq with USB cradle, check your task manager while Ipaq is in the cradle. Mine eats ~10% CPU as long as the thing is attached. Weird but I haven't found any fix for it.

<- has Tiger MP and A7M266-D. Some quick thoughts: 1) Does the machine refuse to start immediately after shutdown? Caused by PSU overheating -> Get bigger PSU. 2) If you have Tiger MP or the Gigabyte MPX, you *must* use registered DIMMS. Other MPX boards are more forgiving, but don't place...
