any software to recover data from the HD?

There was a program called Easy Data Recovery Pro that did an excellent job of recovering stuff.. as long as you didn't overwrite the existing data. I'm not sure the web site, but try a google search. The other tools from Ontrack weren't that great imo.

Recover lost data?

I just had a problem similar to yours i guess. My comp crashed and now it shows my drive, but won't let me into it. Scandisk says the drive has a FAT error. Where can i find Easy Recover Pro or Lost and Found. I just spent half an hour looking but culdn't find it anywhere. Powerquest's site...
