Try ePSXe, it worked on Win2k so I suppose XP is no problem, playing the PS version is better than wrestling with the buggy PC version.

Mouse Wheel in Mozilla

I noticed with Mozilla when I click on a link using the mouse wheel it opens up the link on a new browser window, which doesn't happen with IE. I never bothered to see how I managed to set this. Now that 0.9.5 is out with its handy tabs feature I ask if I can open a link to a new tab by pressing...

Erm I applied the coolbits reg hack from GeForce FAQ way back and every time I upgrade drivers I just install over my old ones and coolbits stay with each update, same with going to 21.80s.

No difference it seems. IMHO if it gets to a point where you might find a difference between parallel and USB then you probably have to consider adding RAM to your printer as well.

On the i850 you need to install them in pairs because the memory access architecture is such that there are 2 channels being read/written simultaneously. On the i820 you do not need to install in pairs (ie you can install 1 module if you want) but you can't leave slots empty because Rambus is...

Windows2000 PowerUser and ICQ...

When you try to do something in ICQ that Windows doesn't let you, look at every error message and note down the name of the file in question. Then login as admin and give full permission to your Power User. You might have to do this a few times. PM me if you have further problems. Oda

Page/swap file size & partition for 1GB RAM in Win2K for NLVE?

Check out this link. Specifically: << Windows 2000, much like previous versions of NT, will dump the contents of memory to Memory.dmp in the event of a Stop, or other fatal error. You can then use this Memory.dmp file for debugging the cause of this error. If this is your sort of thing...

changing admin password in Win2k?

On my computer when I go to the Users and Passwords control panel a dialog box tells me that I can only access this when I type in the name and password of an admin (dunno if the Run as service needs to be enabled though...). Oda

What kind of printer do you have?

HP LJ1200 and occasionally Cannon BJC-4000 for colour jobs (*very* occasionally). You just can't use a non-laser when printing anything with substantial volume ie >10 pages, it'll finish after TF2 comes out :P. (And yes I fully realise the Cannon is heaps old and nowadays ink jets have good...

Win2K and ICQ as a user. - FIXED

Ahh now this little hurdle. Install it under admin. Then run it under desired user, take a note of all error messages. In the message there should be a reference to a file. Remember it. Login as admin again, go to that file and change its permission to let that particular user have full control...
