Another Question: Would it be worthwhile to go for 2 sticks of 1Gb HP RAM to give me a total of 3Gb RAM? Seems like an odd number of RAM to have. Will it reap me any benefits?

NEED ADVICE...
I have a Dell E510 with a Pentium D 820 (2.8Ghz) with 1Gb RAM (512MB x2).
There are 2 open RAM slots
I checked the BIOS to get the details on the RAM sticks, and this is what it told me: 533Mhz, DDR2 SDRAM, Dual Interleaved, Unbuffered.
If I wanted to double the RAM...
Yeah, I got my HD also (the Cavalry one). And, I also can't figure out what the sticky thing is for. I figured out how to get the stand on the bottom.
Instructions for that would have been nice and eased things along.
Functionally, the HD works great! And it's pretty near silent in operation.
You should get an ORDER # from Buy.com, since they send you an order confirmation via email. GOOGLE CHECKOUT also lists the ORDER # in the purchase history, indicating a message was sent to you by Buy.com and should state something to the effect of...
"Buy.com has sent the following message...
