Detach everything. Attach 1 device at a time and boot twice for good measure. Check BIOS settings and possibly restore defaults, flash.

Need advise

No offense but shiit happens. I have limiteless experience in being pissed about late orders and it gets you NO-WHERE. You'll end up delaying it further. My advice is to sit on it for another week and track it.

KR7A-133 vs. KR7A-133 Raid w/Maxtor ATA133

Both boards will give you the same EXACT performance in that field. For one you won't reach an ATA-133's HDD speed limit (or close to it for that matter) and 2nd they both say they support ATA-133 (133MB/s).

KR7A133 & Crucial DDR problems?

CPU? Is your DDR registered or un-registered? The board supports 4 banks unregistered and 8 banks registered. Check for BIOS upgrades and incompatibilities.

Change the jumper to FSB 133 to allow maximum throughput, your configuration supports it nicely.

Windows 2000 boot log, chat & boot question

3 questions re: windows 2k 1. Windows 98 there is bootlog.txt so you can see which driver your system failed to load. What is the equivalent in Windows 2000? Any one know of any good sites on 2000? 2. Is there any good progs built in or not for subnet chatting? I swear Ive seen one built...

New mobo install.....

This system I'm referring to has windows 98 on it and the guy wants a new mobo and an Athlon CPU. Can I just replace the new mobo with the one thats in there and boot up and install the mobo drivers?

Reg tweaks didnt do anything

Never had this problem before, after making two reg tweaks, ie window title and toolbar graphic to be specific nothing has happend. I reloaded the browser and even restarted. The modifications I made in the registry are correct so you can cancel that. Anyone have any ideas?

Anything out there like Ricochet?

I have customers that want to be mobile and Ricochet is chapter 11!?! Anyone know of any solutions? I wouldn't imagine there being any because they would have to utilize the same network or have one of their own.

replaced hdd in etower 433i 4.3g with 30g. now factory cd win 98 won't install

Yeah thats good info. Im just trying to think whats going to happen. I have this .exe and i run it and install on the data partition for windows98. Then I boot into windows 2000 and run that same .exe and install on the same data partition but will it copy the files right over the ones...

Is this scenario possible? If so how?

Let's say I have 3 partitions. One is Win2K and the other is Win98. On the third I want all my programs and I want to share them between partitions. Is this possible? If not is there another way of doing this? Anybody done this?

Question about fresh install and drivers...

When I do a fresh install or a reinstall Windows automatically installs the drivers for my mobo. This includes everything under device manager under system devices. How does this happen? Does windows contain drivers for every mobo? Any info on this would be helpful, thanx.

I am lost... help me

The PS is not too small thats for sure. First thing I would check is your RAM. Make sure its seated correctly. After that check the temp. Make sure you arent over heating. You might not be overclocking but maybe your fan is bad or not seated right. Just some ideas.

If I were you I would want to get some DDR RAM and a mobo that supports it. So get a k7master or something. You dont really need anything other then a mobo for what you have already.
