Anyone? I can't get RC2 to work correct. Nero won't work at all. I tried Imgburn and it seems to burn ok, but the DVD's won't boot. HOw do you make a bootable DVD in imgburn? I have wasted 2 DVD's already..... Thanks in advance!
Hi,
I have a copy of Windows XP Pro, the NFR version. My question is can it still be transfered to someone else after I have activated it? I activated it by phone recently because I was doing a reload and my Retail version's media wasn't being read by my CDROM and wouldn't finish the install...
Hynix (Hyundai) are ok in general but they don't seem to be very consistent. Some say their sticks will do CAS2 up to 300mhz some say they can't get their's to do CAS2 at 266mhz me included. I got mine at Fry's B&M and I wasn't expecting anything good from it anyway so I will just keep returning...

Hi,
I recently purchase a refurb 8KHA+ from Newegg. It arrived in what appeared to be new packaging although I think it might be for the 8KHA but that's not important. Mine did not have either the N+ or U= on the bios chip. It just has gold dots all over the place.
My problem is this:
Minor...
OK, I couldn't get as far as to change to init display as being AGP as it blacks out when I am in the bios.
I however have tried removing all the other cards and I have snce my post been able to try another video card with the same results. I am almost thinking the AGP slot is bad but I don't...
OK, I haven't had to ask a question for a while but this one has got me stumped ot maybe I just don't want to believe that any of the hardware ia bad.
The system:
Tbird 1.1
MSI K7T Pro2A
256mb Kbyte PC133
Prophet GF2 MX 64mb
WD 60gb
12x8x32 CDRW
52x CDROM
Ensonique Sound

Yeah, it's really not a big deal anymore. I wanted to stealth my CD drives but after looking at the bay covers for a while I realized I don't like them much so I replaced them all except the bottom one with regular black bay covers which fits my tastes much better.
Dang, I wish they would have mentioned the lack of the two covers in the description. I can't say I have ever purchased a new case tht shipped without all the bay covers before. The internals are definately impressive for the price though.
Seems I am the only one with the power supply problem...
I am assuming atleast one person has received one of these cases. I didn't read the whole thread so please excuse me if I missed a post covering this already.
My question. Is the RETAIL black version supposed to arrive without either the top 5.25" bay cover or the top 3.5" bay cover? Also, I am...
I haven't seen the DRV4 before today in the refurbished section myself. I bought my first one new retail after my good experience with the DRV2. I wish they as abundent as the 8KHA+ does, you don't have to jump on those. I mean today I was browsing through for about twenty minutes then did a...
I didn't really think it was you :) And I know they go real fast, my ISP has been flaking lately and it didn't help when it took almost a full minute to load the last checkout page. If they would have had 10 I would have gotten all 10 even if I had to get evicted this month to do so. I got the...
keyman923 you were probably the guy that made it so I could only get 1 :| LOL.
I had three in my kart then went to checkout and only 1. They really need to do it like Electroseller where if you have it in your kart it is removed from online inventory. It's less depressing that way. If you want...
I just bought one for 59.00, a Soltek SL-75DRV4 Purple Ray refurb for 59.00, a XP 1700+ Retail for 124.00 and a Black Evercase with PSU and not only was the shipping only 15.00 they knocked 10.00 off my total at checkout.
I didn't think it was a bad deal for 291.00 shipped. And I live in...
Oh, I am just upping the power. I plan to dedicate one two the motherboard and have the second power all my fans (3-120mm, 7-80mm) and drives (4-Harddrive, DVD, CDRW).
I have a 3-1/2 foot tall case so I have room for two additional PSU's above the original one. So I figure since you get much...
I knew at one time bu have forgotten.
I need to know how to hook up two ATX power supplies so that both turn on when I turn on the machine. Like which wires to connect, or a link to a article on how to do a really clean dual PS setup.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks
I personally like the Suncom F15E Talon Joystick. It has a metal base and shaft. And all the buttons are programable on the fly. No software needed. It is large and well built with a very nice feel and a good number of buttons. Here is a review and if you want I can send you a pic. But they are...
I don't know if you have already suceeded in making these buttons prioir to the text problem but if not then I could make you some blank ones identical to those and E-mail them to you.
I personally use Paintshop Pro 6 or later. But there are alot of programs that will make buttons for you. You can get demo and sometimes free programs of that sort at Download.com.
Thanks guys.:D
I guess I'll just use the bios to get it to 525 which it runs stable at. Either of you know anything about the Iwill Slocket II??? And how about a PIII 450 can it do 600???
There are a bunch. Go to download.com and search there. I found one a while back that would find the deleted files and browse through them like windows explorer and selectively restore them. Sorry I can't remember the name. But I just typed in words like "Recovery" and...
I have no experience with Intel so bare with me. I recently got a Celeron 466 with an Iwill Slcoket II. My question is on a board that autodetects the chip can I use the slocket to change voltage?
The mobo a Matsonic 7192s allows me to change FSB and multiplier within the bios but the slocket...

I recenlty bought a Diamond Supra Express from a used PC shop and found after I got home that it is a MAC version:disgust:
My question is if there is any way to make this work with my PC? I haven't tried anything yet. It's a Supra Express 56e.
Any help would be apreciated.
I have owned two over a number of years. It will record any external source in Mpeg 1 format. I have done it! It is done using the included software. I have recorded TV shows from it's internal tuner and Movies from a VCR.
Yes Hauppauge cards do capture programs in Mpeg-1 format. And you can get even a model from 1996 and it will work flawlessly in Win2k. They can be had for as low as 15.00 on the board.
Can any one tell me what kind of options the traditional K7TPro has in the bios. This Gateway doesn't have anything. Just boot order and drive detect. And I just decided to try flashing it and nothing works. Gateway says I have to have a bios version ending in VW but all I have is numbers. The...
I got the connectors off of an old MB I bought from Goodwill for 5.00. I didn't have to do any PS/2 stuff. Mostly just pins for the switches and LED's aswell as an additional com port and USB extension connector. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure all PS/2 conectors have the same pin...
I,m nto going to do that. I was simply being nice to someone who tried to answer my question. And I would never return something I screwed up. And returns are returned to the manufacturer anyway.
