Telemarketers calling my cell phone..

Actually I had the same problem, when i called Tmobile, they said about half of the time its from auto dialers, and the rest is when people goto these sites and input their number so they can get ring tones, screen saves, etc downloaded onto their phones. Best thing to do is call your provider...

Wireless intercom........fairly cheap.

Any retail store should have wireless intercoms cheap, i got mine from Wal-Mart for 15 bucks each unit, I bought three also, just make sure they have a switch on it so it communicates with the proper channel (Room).

Does anyone use ICQ anymore?

ICQ sucks @ss...used to never get msgs in real time...I would get a flood of them all together a couple days later...plus i hear all the spam on it now makes it even worse

What do you think of this system? (ordering soon and I have a few questions)

10baseT NIC Fast enough for me. For what its worth you might as well get a 10/100 NIC, the price difference is very tiny and will be worth it when you goto college, LAN parties, etc. Some MB's have NICS onboard, so you might want to look into that.

Compaq Notebook Keyboard problem

This is a known issuse with Presario laptops, its because they put the CPU right under some KB wires, and after the CPU gets hot it tends to destory the wire casing and results in what your experiencing. Trust me on this one I used to work at Compaq.

Intel .. is it worth the money?

Yeah I used to be a AMD guy untill i upgraded my XP1800+ to a P4 1.6a. Man it runs so much cooler and OC's even better. Best move Ive made so far.

Help!! Laptop won't boot due to a virus`

If the virus is in the boot sector, you might want to low level format the drive, get the program from the vendor of the hd, all it does it write zeros to the whole drive wiping out whatever was making the drive mess up. I had to do this once on my Compaq E500 and it works fine now.

Still think Bush won the election fairly?

I personally think Bushs bother had something to do with him winning the election, Im from Texas and Im so happy hes not the states problem anymore, but on a greater scale hes the Nations problem, cant wait for the next election to boot him out.

the login/password window that 's an uninvited guest from hell....

Delete the PWL file. and then hit OK on the login screen, this will set a random pass with the OS, so it wont prompt you for a pass anymore, and set it to microsoft family login under network in control panel

My Win98 Boot Disk cannot see my CD-ROM Drives?? Please Help

Nah read my other post on this same matter...the problem is that the boot cd doesnt reconize the pci ata card, the fix was posted on the other thread, I had the same problem with my AOpen 12x dvd drive, after I edited the files It all worked...later

-Boot up using the Win98/98SE Boot Disk. When you reach the Startup Menu where you can select whether to start the computer with or without CD Rom Support, press the "F5" Key. This will bring you to an A:> prompt. -Type "REN ASPI2DOS.SYS ASPI2DOS.OLD" (without quotations)...
