    Back from Road Trip!

    I disagree, I think that the Grand Canyon is amazing. But you went to the wrong spots. Try the north rim or a river trip, or some time backpacking down in it.

    Are you happy with what you do for a living?

    I love my job but the pay sucks but that's ok because I'm happy. Truely. I work in the therapeutic industry with not advanced degree. I work 8 days on then have 6 days off. Typically have 24 weeks off a year and my bosses are AWESOME.

    If given a chance to climb Everest, would you do it?

    I'd have to think long and hard about it. Likely the answer would be no, but it depends on the opportunity. I have two friends that have summited, and I climb mountains and am an avid outdoors person. But Everest is a dangerous zoo. I'm not sure I'd go. And at the moment, I have no desire to.

    Yes, no shade. With the rainfly on though. Rainflys are more UV resistant than tents (especially on new tents). Seriously, don't worry about this unless you're basecamping on Everest for three months. Then if you are, it's easy to just cover your tent with a tarp.
