Different between VIA693 and 694

I just know different of them is AGP4x support. When I use Voodoo3 2000 AGP(only support AGP2x), actually they will be same performence, but 694 look like better then 693 more! Why?

Is Samsung 700NF really better then Samsung 700IFT? There is same spec. except dot pitch 700IFT = 0.20 dot pitch 700NF = 0.25 AG pitch AG means what?

Syborg1211, Did you try other before? Most of I list at above can do 1600x1200 at 75 hz. Sony Trinitron is not a Flatscreen, Sony FD Trinitron is real Flat. I haven't try Sony G200, but Sony E200 just have a good vivid colors, MAG and Viewsonic is more vivid then E200. LXi, Yes, I haven't try...

I have try SAMSUNG 700IFT, SAMSUNG 753DF, Sony E200, Viewsonic EF70, NEC 75F, MAG 796FT, PHILIPS 107P and LG 795FT PLUS. I personally feel that the LG 795FT PLUS is the best, 2nd will be SAMSUNG 700IFT. Did you agree?

Thanks Huma, i will go with 512MB RAM, because i run three or more program in same time. And than, how about CPU? 733 is enough? need go with 800 or more? GeForce2 MX is more cheaper than G400, how about there performence in 2D? I think motherboard and HDD is no much difference, any recommend?

Two months ago, i build a system below. I run Adobe Photoshop 5.5, Illustrator 9 and PakeMaker 6.5 in Win98 SE. Intel Pentium III 700 Asus CUBX Matrox G400 max Apacer 256MB PC133 SDRAM Quantum FB Plus LM 20GB But, even i overclock to 933, i feel it still no enough power. Now i need another one...

I'm not sure what drivers is but i will update it to latest. It run with 440BX, 89MHz FSB!!! When i turn back to normal speed, it will ok!

Problem to overclocking with Apacer

P3-700E(cB0), oc to 933(133x7) Asus CUBX Matrox Millennium G400 MAX 32MB Apacer PC133 SDRAM 256MB(128 x 2) It can run with 933 and stable in win98 but 256 will drop to 64. It run with original heatsink and fan, 1.65v. Also try up to 1.90v(cpu) and 3.60v(vio) but still drop. That two of Apacer...

Stringy, CUBX is a BX chipset, it only support AGPx1 and x2!!! How can matrox force it to AGPx4?? Nikepete, How many hours you let your G400 got with 93 and stable? Because I want let it go with 133FSB(89MHz) and 12hours per day!!! Is that got problem???
