Who's using Edge as their primary browser?

No AB+ was my main concern also, then I tried using the mvps.org hosts file for ad blocking, and it's working quite well.

Surprised there wasn't a thread for this already. It seems like it's been the top seller on Steam since it came out. Saw it and thought rocket propelled cars playing soccer... really? But it is wicked fun, just the right mix of chaos and skill in an arcade game. So I'd definitely recommend...

So whats the defacto software for a secure Windows setup nowadays?

Those work, and I would add Microsofts EMET (currently 5.2) https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/jj653751 Once installed, click "Import" and select the "Popular Software" xml file to add its recommended protections to apps like Chrome, 7zip, etc., and then you're done.

Anotehr one of those ArmA 3 posts...

Arma 3 cares more about single fast cores, it doesn't multi-thread much. The 8350 would improve things, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it. You'd be better off getting a new Core i3, or video card. But a 7870 should be fine, depending on what graphics settings you're trying to run...

Intel Xeon E3-1230 V3 same as i7 4770 for $60 less...

My 2 cents, and to keep this thread alive for those out there trying to make similar decisions. Just built my new machine with the Xeon E3-1230v3, running on an Asrock H87 board. Used the savings vs. the i7-4770 to go with the GTX 770 instead of a 760, and couldn't be happier.

You mention A3 like that several times in this post, did you not follow the games development? There was no real Arma3 when they started. The games were developed in parallel. They're a small studio. There are dev-blog posts explaining the same coders and artists worked on both projects, ideas...

I've played with it, but do not have a need for it myself. People I trust who use it, speak highly of it. It is comparable with Websense. You can use OpenDNS with it. It's free, so there's nothing to lose from trying it and seeing if it fits your needs.
