Most RIMMs have to be installed in pairs because they're 16 bits wide. The newest RIMMs are 32 bits wide and don't have to be installed in pairs but they're expensive and require newer motherboards.
I installed Windows XP and activated cleartype as suggested.
The text is much better using XP than Windows 2000.
BTW:
Windows 2000 automatically detects the LCD monitor as FCT1904Z2 as render stated.

Text is definitely jagged for diagonal letters, like the "W", definitely inferior to an analog monitor at same resolution!
Can't set the refresh rate to 75Hz in digital mode but can in analog mode...

I used the coupon today but the clerk gave me grief because she said it was a FAX copy.
The coupon does have the look of a FAX but it was printed with a 1200dpi laser printer???

The discounts worked but it said an order number and confirmation wouldn't come for a day.
