Issue:
- PC freezes at its own will. Sometimes once in an hour .. sometimes once in 24 hours.
- The freeze is NOT associated with a specific task.
- The freeze involves no response from the keyboard or the mouse. The cursor is stuck at its last location. The power fans and LEDs are all ON.

that is true- if you buy the USB version then the whole thing is USB1.1. If you buy the IEEE version, then you get USB2.0 interface (but no USB port in the front)- which in my opinion is quite pathetic.

ISP: Cox HSI
Cable Modem: Motorola SB4100
Router: DLink DI-713P
Clients: Desktop with Win98SE and Lappy with WinXP
When I connect desky straight to modem - i am connected and ok.
When I connect the desky to router (LAN port) - no connectivity - network card...
i know its the best card in the world and i know this is what i want to have ... but i wonder if this is the best price i can get it for.
any suggestions will be highly helpful.
