Why are there no WRC events in North America?

That is one frkcin' mean lookin' plane!

In the picture you see flares to confuse heat seeking missles and radar operators on the ground. This plane is truly kicka@@, it can hit targets very accurately, but the A-10 is stil better!

Chinese force down US spy plane

Prime95 - "Sumout"

Ahh yes semi-stable, but in the world of windows there is no such thing as a Stable Computer!!!! Try figuring out why I can't get Delta Force Land Warrior to install but I can run prime95 for 4 hours????

Recommendation needed for Burn-in Test and Benchmarking programs

A great burn-in test is Prime95, it will heat up your core temp to the max. And don't get too discouraged if it doesn't work all that great....I still can't figure out why it stops after 18 tests. A good benchmark is Sandra for all around stuff...and for 3D benchmarks get 3DMark2001 from...

kt7a-raid bios

It took me two or three time to get my abit kt7a-raid bios to notice my harddrives right, just keep setting HDD detection to auto and rebooting, if that doesn't work try manually defining your harddrives.

3DMark2001 Out Today!!!

Just got it up and running, all I can say is download this!!! :D It's incredable, but my score sucks compared to 3DMark2000, used to have 8100, now have 3300...guess we all will need a geforce4 to get in the 8000s again :(

Sandra Burn in Wizard

I have a problem with sandra too, it looks up when I run the ram bench mark...don't know why...maybe some of those anandtech gurus out there know why??? Nothing else cuases problems...not even prime95 torture test.

Abit KT7A and KT7A-RAID motherboard problem and AMD-approved status

My kt7a-raid works great! Got my 1.2 up to 1.33 with no problems except I need a tad bit more air circulating in my case...but that's easily solved with another fan.

HSF for Athlon

yeah fop 32-1 works great...keeping my 1.3Ghz down to 32C idle, and with my case open at full load on cpu only goes up to 48C. Just make sure you install the HSF with artic silver, and with no dirt or fingerprints on the die.

Anyone have experience with a Casedge LX734A/3??

Hey I have a casedge case...just built my new system with it. The case is great!!! I just bought the optional 60mm fan to increase my cooling because I'm overclocking my AMD 1.2Ghz to 1.33Ghz. I love the cases design and ease of installation...it all just works great.

APCI? does it really lower temps?

I formatted and reinstalled everything...except this time with ACPI activated...my core temps are down 11C idle. So now my idle is around 38C and my full load is around 52C...so I'm still looking to bring down the full load...guess I need to clean off all the Artic silver and apply gain, but...

APCI? does it really lower temps?

When I first installed windows I had temps around 40-47C....But I had some problems so I tried installing without APCI...now my temps are up in the lower 50s all the time. Does APCI really help that much??? Also removed and reinstalled HSF, do I need to redo that and make sure the two surfaces...

I'll try the acetone trick. And I'm trying to keep my core voltage down to around 1.75. I don't understand how you could gain in performance by raising it too much higher??? And the stability problem only seems to araise in 3D games and benchmarks....they either freeze, give me a procedure...

1.33ghz and Temp Problems

Is there a good way to remove the old thermal paste from the chip itself. I can't seem to get it all off when I try. I'll try removing and putting my heatsink on again with less thermal compound. Thanks.

MoBo is Abit KT7A-Raid with latest bios, I believe WB but don't quote me on that. Ambient case temp is steady at 23C. I have problems running 3D games at a core temp of 53C it freezes my machine. Up to that point, everything runs great.

before I even installed the modem I just installed my soundcard and my ethernet card...still didn't work. At first I thought my soundcard was bad untill I installed the modem and realized both where shutting down at the same time. But I'll still give it a try tomorrow. Who knows maybe it will...

Ok I tried moving my Soundcard all around my PCI slots. Had it in 2,3,4 and still no effect. I did set my chip and fsb speed to default 1200 which was 12 X 100. Somebody told me to check my pci bus speed but I didn't change that at all it was still set to 33. I rebuild my old dell system and...

Alright I'll try that stuff out, but I'm pretty sure I followed that order before and it still didn't work out correctly. Plus it doesn't make much sense why both my sound card and modem would work and then just stop all of a sudden.
