Thank you very much for your suggestions. I think I will try buying a Seasonic Focus Plus Platinum 850W hoping to solve my problems. And as you said is also excellent for future-proofing.
My PSU is 5 years old now, a Seasonic X-650. I was not aware of such a degradation of power output on a PSU. I guess I'll try by updating my PSU to a 750 or 850 one.
Any particular suggestions concerning the characterstics?

Is there anything I should look for in Process Explorer? I've already checked the temperatures, they are within the norm.
Also it always happens almost immediately after I activate VR or Gamestream. So no time for them to rise at all!
I've measured the Power consumption...
I thought the same! But then why would it not fail during 2+ hours of heavy load on both CPU and GPU (using FurMark and such) and just specifically fail with Vive and Gamestream?
