i posted a link to a vid that had a porn popup. I didn't know about the porn popups because i, like 99 percent of everybody else on the net, have a decent pop up stopper. BTW, the vid was not porn or x rated

How to uninstall program when windows add/remove won't??

I saw somewhere online that you have to go the cliprex's homepage but i can't find it. I am not the muffinman on Gamespot forums. How do I do a registry search?

How to uninstall program when windows add/remove won't??

I got that nasty spyware cliprex program and i need to get it off my machine. Windows/control panel/add remove programs will not find it to take it off. What is another way/removal program that will take it out?? btw: adaware and spybot will not remove it either

Help removing a virus

I'm running norton antivirus with brand new virus definitions. I did a scan and backdoor.sdbot showed up. Norton was unable to quarantine or delete the virus. How can I get rid of it. Is this backdoor thing bad?

Aggravating driver problem at setup?!?

Everytime i boot up windows xp pro my damn ATI driver wants to install itself again even though it is already properly setup. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same problem. Anybody know how to fix this??

IS Fortissimo II AS stable and good as Santa Cruz?

so as far as sound goes the fortissimo is just as good as the santa cruz in playing basic mp3s and movies/games...etc????

DID I FRY MY MOBO???

hopefully u didn't do what my first time ass did and screw the mobo straight into the case w/o using the standoff's.....god, i feel like such an idiot.......powered it up and fried it all up.....scorched the board real good(turned it into a penny piece!!:)...i know how u feel tho......keep us...

i have an ECS K7vta3 board and can't get the little clips on the ends of the ram receptacles to engage the ram....i'm pushing hard and they just won't click into place...am i doin' something wrong or is this a known problem???

I've heard i'm supposed to scratch off the little pink pad on my heatsink/fan and use some paste for better heat transfer. Is that the case, and if so, what is the best thermal paste to use, and what is the best way to apply it,eg, on cpu and h/s or just a lil' on h/s, etc.......btw, my...

which of 2 drives would You pick for boot drive??

sorry, i forgot to add the make of the drives.......the 20 gig ata 66 7200rpm is a western dig. and the 40 gig ata 100 5400 rpm is a samsung.......the samsung is brand new and the west. dig. is a year old.

which of 2 drives would You pick for boot drive??

I got a 20 gig ata 66 7200rpm drive, and a 40 gig ata 100 5400rpm. Which one will have the fastest performance for the boot drive. In essence, will the ata affect performance more so than the rpm? Cheers, Greg
