My two favorite Firefox Add-ons:
Delicious Bookmarks
Delicious Bookmarks is the official Firefox add-on for Delicious, the world's leading social bookmarking service (formerly del.icio.us). It integrates your bookmarks and tags with Firefox and keeps them in sync for easy, convenient access...
I've experienced #2 myself. At first I wasn't sure if it was itunes or the firmware upgrade that i'd done on the ipod itself. I use tag & rename to edit tags and embed album art into the mp3's that I have so I know that the artwork is there. I plugged my ipod into my laptop, which still has...
This was done. I remember playing on a few of those maps with the Dreamcasst players. It sucked for them though. IIRC they were limited to 30FPS and dial-up. Plus, most of them were using gamepads. It wasn't even fun. I don't ever even remember getting killed by any of them. Most of the...
I've installed Debian from a bare-bones Testing CD, with no software packages. I changed the sources.lst to unstable and did a apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade.
I've installed x-window-system, gnome, and some other stuff, but it's still pretty basic.
Here are my questions...
Oh wow... I'm happy to know that there are still folks that love enlightenment as much as I do. Even a Lifer or two. Always has been my favorite Window Manager, and probably always will be.
This is the controller that I use for playing games on the PC:
Logitech Dual Action
It works great for sports games (NBA Live and Madden series) and I've also used it for the GTA series, Need for Speed Underground 2 and some others.
They're about $19 each, function pretty much identically...
Version 0.4 has been released!
http://www.mtavc.com/
For those that don't know about it, it allows PC users to play Grand Theft Auto 3 and GTA:Vice City online.
It's pretty cool. Still a little buggy, but loads of fun to play.
Add another wrinkle to the mix...
There is a local store here that's sellling "Grade A" refurbished 21" Compaq monitors for $125
The models are V1000, V1100, and P1210.
It looks like the P1210 is actually a 22" (20" visible) DIAMONDTRON NF Flat screen monitor.
They have 30-day warranties...
Did you ever think that he was upset with the teacher, not necessarily because he called him black, but because out of a group of students, where more than one had their shirts untucked, he got singled out for being the black kid?
I purchased a Samsung 955DF 19-inch CRT monitor this past Sunday at a local Microcenter store. It came up to about $215 with tax.
I love it, especially considering the fact that I sold my old 17-inch monitor, and an older system I had laying around, for $150. I haven't had a monitor now...
Agreed, I don't doubt that Kayne may be a little arrogant, but I seriosly doubt that he said all of that.
It was posted by an anonymous user, and reeks of some kind of rumor created to make him look bad.
GREAT NEWS EVERYBODY!!!
My actual mileage was about 59,760 and apparently as of about August of 2003 the dealers that are still in existence have been able to honor the warranties.
So somehow I've lucked up and the dealership is going to fix this whole timing belt dissaster, under the 60,000...
Nope, the mechanic highly recommended that I don't drive it... and two weeks is nothing... it took almost a month for front brake pads to come in! Took about three weeks for some part that was causing problems for me when changing from park to any other gear.
Looks like most of you guys seem to be leaning toward me keeping it. That's probably what I'll do. This repair bill is gonna be $700 bucks this time around though and the parts are gonna take about two weeks to come in. I hate to pay that and continue to have those kinds of problems in the...
I have a 2000 Daewoo Leganza. Previously I had a Honda Civic, but traded it in after an accident to get the Daewoo. I figured that since it was a brand new car, and since I got it from a reputable dealer in my area, everything would be okay. I still owed on my Civic, so part of its debt was...
Well jeez...
1) I guess I can see how my question could be percieved as me trying to find a way to beat the firewall and hack into computers, but honestly, all I want to do is connect to my box at home (or I guess maybe the 1and1 account I signed up for) so that I can fiddle with linux stuff...
Once upon a time I had a link to a page that allowed me to circumvent our firewall here at work and ssh into my linux box at home. I believe it was done via a java applet, but it wasn't related to MindTerm.
Somehow it tunneled through my http or https connection to the internet. It was...
BEWARE: If you have installed Service Pack 1 on the home version, I don't believe you can install XP Professional unless Service Pack 1 has been slipstreamed into it.
A married couple went to the hospital to have their baby delivered.
Upon their arrival, the doctor said he had invented a new machine
that would transfer a portion of the mother's labor pain to the baby's
father. He asked if they were willing to try it out. They were both
very much in favor of...
Try ObjectDock or MobyDock instead.
Between the two I prefer ObjectDock though... and, by default even, it looks better than the screenshot on Stardock's website.
Well, they aren't sure when the Compaq is gonna come back in, so I'm gonna keep the Toshiba.
The Toshiba does have Intel Extreme Graphics, so I guess I'm cool.
I do appreciate the help guys, thank you so much!
