"and have about a third less ink" Not at all true in that respect. New CLI-8 cartridges have the exact same 13 ml as the old cartridges. The new PGI-5 Black cartridge has 26 ml instead of 27 ml. Nowhere near 1/3 less ink. Someone needs to go back to math class. I've never used generics...

Warning about Tigerdirect Opt Out marketing program.

You are judged by the company you keep. It would appear that Tiger Direct has chosen poorly. Perhaps if there is enough noise and fallout over this issue, other merchants who are in bed with bad actors will get the message and stop treating their customers like masochistic playthings.

DVD Player *cheap* *region free* at a store near you

I'd just like to point out that this very DVD unit was available a few months ago at Target for only $83.00. I picked mine up in New Hampshire and paid exactly $83.00. It works nice, and I've already set it up for region free and VCD playback.

Free Vegemite Sample from Down Under

I happen to love Vegemite, but do not like Marmite. A good way to enjoy V-mite is as creamy vegemite. Put it and butter on a hardbread and mix together. Nice and salty and creamy. Hmmm... that almost sounds perverse.:confused:
