I have a high resolution LCD and the forum font size displays very small. There used to be a way to customize the forum's font size but now I can't seem to find it...is it still available and if so where? Thanks.
This is part of the reason I asked, earlier in the post, if the widescreens were still measured diagonally. I mean, a 17" widescreen monitor is small. Nothing to get too excited about except for the "chic" factor.
Looks like you need these coupons to get the discount...I wonder if they would accept a copy of these scans?

"omax" meaning OfficeMax??? What a deal! I'm gonna pick one up if our local stores have them in stock. I've had mine almost two years and I'm sure the drum or toner will need to be replaced soon. But at this price it's cheaper to just buy another.
Actually it's listed in Staples weekly flyer as a "Special Buy" and the price is good through 12-13-03. No coupon required. I assume you're referring to the Staples.com price of $179. Why it appears on Staples.com for $179 is beyond me. I will edit my topic header by adding B&M.
Newegg lists the graphics memory speed as 800MHz (for the XFX FX 5900)...everywhere else I look lists the memory frequency as 850MHz (including the link Newegg provides for the one they have posted for $189 shipped)...is this a typo or are the specs I'm looking at for two different cards?
Too bad. I was hoping to create a SACD compatible computer using an audiophile grade sound card to replace the CD player on my HiFi. I love using Windows Media Player and seeing the title of the track playing, along with other associated info. CDs already seem so dated as they don't natively...
Oh, so it's like a third format? Too bad. I was hoping to upgrade to an audiophile level soundcard without having to buy a new CD player. Thanks for the feedback.
The new Creative Labs Sound Blaster 2 ZS Platinum sound card comes with DVD-A capability but not SACD. Any word if Sony will be licensing this technology to computer sound card manufacturers or perhaps making one of their own?

I'm considering going to cable from dial-up service. I'm amazed I have been unable to locate a PCI cable modem. Is there a reason they are so hard to find? The last thing I want is another box sitting on my desk, I'm amazed folks put up with them. Thanks!
When either downloading or purchasing the latest service pack...does it include previous service pack enhancements or must one start with SP1, then SP2 etc???

Recently built my first CPU and I've noticed the CD's are very warm when removed from the DVD-ROM (it's an internal 2nd generation Toshiba DVD). The unit seems to slow a bit when warmer. I understand there are CD-ROM coolers available...does anybody use them? If so, any recommendations would be...
I hesitate to recommend as I'm NO expert but I have spent the last 12 months working on new CPUs and installing XP on many of these systems. I had a heck of a time getting XP to play nice with RAID arrays. I attributed it to immature drivers. One system wouldn't boot in safe mode while running a...
I am attempting to setup a simple network between 2 computers (I had some notes explaining the "how to" that gave me confidence to buy 2 network cards and the cable but have since lost the darn notes). Anyways...I've installed the network cards and connected the cable (I'm getting green lights...
GREAT question! I've been having all kinds of problems with Windows XP, when playing games, and it turned out to be a problem with my Aureal sound card. So now I'm looking for a non ISA card as well. Anyone???
I have a very similar config (except video card is Visiontek) and she keeps dumping me back to the desktop. Can't get many other games running either, for that matter. Have you had luck with other games you've installed?
I'm having nothing but problems as well with a fresh install of XP Pro. The Sims keeps dumping me back to the desktop, Motoracer sound quits after a few minutes, & Motoracer2 won't load (something about a kernel.32 issue). Wheel of Fortune works but during install it complained about a missing...
<< Unless you have already, the only thing I can suggest is downloading the Iomegaware 3.1. >>
Just tried the download...while there is some improvement but it's still buggy as hell. I can't seem to copy any files to or from the zip without locking up the system. And when it does work the...
I've been looking around and can't seem to find help with this problem. Bascially the zip runs rather buggy with Windows XP. Some files won't copy from zip to hard drive (I get file transfer errors), sometimes it locks up, and if I leave a zip disk in when booting up XP complains that it is a...
The only way I can think of these guys getting my cc # is from their "on file" records. Both were charged from the same subscription house (the vendor phone numbers on my cc statement were identical for both charges). Perhaps they were able to finally locate the cc # from a past subscription...
Check your credit card statements closely. I signed up for a couple of these "so called free magazine subscriptions" over the past 12 months from posts on this forum (one over 11 months ago). I NEVER submitted any credit card info when ordering yet somehow they obtained my CC account info and...
<< sonicworld - There's several deals websites which lists coupons such as these. >>
