If you're happy then I'm happy! I hit some no nos like trying to use FAT32 files and it stopped recording at 4 GB (need NTFS). Also, I had to set up a profile in win2000 with a password in order to get Task Scheduler (and the Win Scheduler) to run at a later time. Just little gotchas!

Tried burning a VCD using the two Nero software 6.0 and Video Express. The VCD burns fine but there are no control buttons on the splash/menu for the VCD. Like a Play button or OK button. I have to select a clip and press "1" on the remote control and THEN it starts playing!
Using MF 3 and tried to burn a VCD for an hour TV show. It was recorded using DVD Standard Play. BUT it took 12 HOURS to burn the VCD! What am I missing here? On another forum someone said that reencoding from DVD took awhile. But that long?

I like VM BECAUSE I can use a credit/debit card automatically to top off every 90 days or if it goes below a $5 balance. No muss no fuss. No string around the finger. No cards to buy and I don;t have to remember to add minutes every 30-60 days like other plans (Verizon prepaid).
