is anyone getting problems playing HL2 , BF2 and quake 4 with this card.

just do as I do get a cdrw and burn a floppy boot with the required ghost file on it works fine , dumped the floppy long time ago,It did not look nice in Lian Li case
sounds like you do not have a good earth/ground circuit ( check the wall outlet , all metal must be earthed if you can touch it ,computers are not double insulated and therfore must be connected to a grounded socket )
the static on your body is triggering the boot

seems that XP is not reporting the mem correctly after installing the pc1066 ram but sisoft sandra is ok as are parts of XP

please check in the system info page and see how it reports the Physical memory installed?
the page on contol panel system reports correctly in my system 512mb but sys info reports 256mb ??

I taken the plunge on the last build not to install a floppy, no problems at all
bios upgrades work from windows on my asus mb , if I need a boot I use a cdrw with a 2.88mb boot immage on it
to prove it its simple to do but may not be practical
turn OFF everthing in the house then go and check the elec meter and take a reading . then turn on the pc leave running for two hours . then take another reading subtract one from the other divide by 2 , that is the consumption of the pc...
yes they all have drive letters and show up with the boot disk.
its seems that me had not formatted the disk correctly giving it a non dos status

Help I have just installed XP on a friends pc but I cannot access the 2nd hd, It shows in "my computer" but I cannot browse the drive.
History
the pc was running ME ( ugg) and both drives were accessable
the drive shows up as NON DOS in fdisk ( win 98 boot )

the new version is rubish I cannot d/l any software at all , all d/l fail . The new network is not a patch on the old

do not test your psu this way , its a sure way to damage it . the psu needs a load on it to opperate or the 5v rail will over volt, if you must test the psu use a mobo as the load , or get a proper tester Antec make one only costs a few pounds see below from Jungle.com site

be very carefull its not Morpheus its self but the people that share on it. I have just picked a two virus, although nav pick them up ( after they had infected the pc ) had to reformat to make sure its clean

the ports are fitted to the case . its that I need some place to connect them to . dont feel like to much modding of the case at £120 ( not yet any way)
