when I set up the CLI versions i made two folders and gave machine ID 1 to folder 1 and machine ID 2 to folder two. Both cores are at 100% useage. I'll have to look into this "SMP" client. I briefly read about it and saw the word "BETA" which I'm not quickly inclined to use.

Is it typical for a F@H WU to take 2 days to finish?
I just installed the cli version x2 on a E6600 and at about 22 hours running its completed 127,500 steps out of 250,000 or just over 50%.

there are 2 buses when talking about the path data travels from the RAM to the CPU
The FSB or Frontside Bus IIRC is the bus between the memory controller and the CPU. On a 533FSB CPU (a P4b) for example, it ran on a 133MHz bus that transmitted data four times each clock, yielding the 533FSB...
IIRC, draft age is 18-26... they take'd take many more from the 18-20 yr old range before they dip into those 21+

In reply to the actual question of how long they can last... depends COMPLETELY on future revenue growth. Any company that consistently sustains losses will go under. Looking over their income statement / balance sheet.... they look to be fine and just had a poor quarter in terms of sales...
minimal... I would recommend you spend that money thats burning a hole in your pocket on one of the latest and greatest video cards if you want better fps in HL2
