My company gave me a Toshiba Tecara 8100, its a P3600 with the Savage MX graphics chipset, Its actually cool to be able to play Q3 on my laptop, oh yes its a great computer otherwise also.

Highest Overclockable RAM & Mobo for PIII

Upgrade advice: from PIII 550 + Abit BE6-II

Im running a BE6-II Raid, and a P3-550 slot 1 @825mhz 150mhz FSB If your running your 550 at stock speed, then maybe you should try to overclock it, because I know my system is not up right there with the fastest anymore, but I can still hang, and Quake 3 runs perfect at 1024x768 32bit, so until...

Great stuff, always high quality, however you can find (with a little hunting around) just as good of Ram for less somwhere else, but for a good guarantee on FSB and CAS Settings they cant be beat.

DVD-ROM drives / decoders

I agree with Zero just get a DVD Drive and just use software decoding, Personally WinDVD is my fav. and most newer video cards support some built in hardware decoding features. It will definetely save you a little cash.
